Welcome to the last online edition of the year, but the first satire edition with the new branding, The Canine Comical! We hope your post-testing fried brains are still up to enjoy this 100% satire edition.
The Daily Show, The Onion, and/or Saturday Night Live are popular examples of satirical pieces. Satire means, according to the Oxford Dictionary, “The use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.”
Therefore, all articles in this edition about MBMS staff members are fictional, as teachers are aware and are in on the joke. Names have been changed and quotes have been created by teh author to suit the satire of the story. WE’RE AWARE, Y’ALL. Articles and pictures that use famous people are used ethically and under parody creative license laws for use of publication.
So, indulge in articles about addictions to AirPods and spilling tea and more local stories about MBMS teachers, lockers, and electives.
To reiterate, this edition is not 100% factually relevant. Its purpose is hopefully to be entertaining and funny to you all.
Here’s to a strong end of the 2018-2019 school year!
Sincerely,
"Stream Andi Mack or perish. ”
