After the infamous squirrel incident of 2017, MBMS staff have been paying more attention to what is pulled out of the students lockers. This year, many strange and unusual things were found.
One of the many strange things found in a locker this year would be John Chalmers just-in-case banana suit.
“Who knows when you will need a banana suit? “ Chalmers said. “I just like to be prepared.”
Chalmers friend, Justin Sane, helped in cleaning the locker and was shocked to find the bright yellow object.
"At first I was really confused, but then I remembered how important it is to have a banana suit on hand." Sane said." I am proud to say that I will be keeping one in my locker next year to be better prepared."
Carrie Mei, Chalmers locker neighbor was concerned by other things seen falling out of his locker.
"Confusion is an understatement, " Mei said. "I just saw a flash of neon every time his locker was open. When I asked about it, he finally told me that it was a banana suit, I asked why he just said because. What does that mean?! Why is everyone treating this like a normal thing?!"
Chalmers has started a movement for the school to provide suits for every student to keep in their locker and to help spread awareness of the importance of a banana suit.
"I just hope that people will see what a banana suit can mean for a child. It is practically live or death, " Chalmers said.
A student was found to have one of the most beloved game show hosts to bless this Earth residing in his locker. Jeopardy host Alex Trebek was found in Bill Folder’s locker giving out Jeopardy questions to students last week during fourth period.
“It was quite the scandal,” said Paige Turner, an MBMS student and personal writer. "Students would skip class and stand around the locker playing."
At first, Folder let people play for free during lunches, but slowly he started to charge to attend one of the games. It would cost more if you wanted to play.
"I am ashamed to say I was making about 300$ a day charging 10 dollars to watch and 15 dollars to play, " Folder said.
After Folder was caught, he decided to turn his life around and focus on volunteering, but Gree Dihanz the former champion, was lost without the game.
" I had 24 wins under my belt, and then suddenly, it was all gone," Dihanz said. "I still see the teachers busting us every time I close my eyes."
Teachers have noticed students like Dihanz still answering questions in class in the "What is..." format. It has destroyed many different students, but MBMS has been doing what they can to help them recover.
"I hope we can all grow and learn from this together," Dihanz said.
Concern was raised when the Infinity Gauntlet was located in an MBMS student’s locker.
We had previously believed the artifact to be destroyed during the war but turns out that Pic Pokit had salvaged it from the rubble.
"I found it in my front yard on my way to school one day and decided to keep it, " Pokit said.
Students like Bai Syc were nervous to interact will Pokit for fear that she would use the gauntlet against them.
"Don't tell her, but I am pretty sure she took my lunchbox," Syc said. "I am just too scared to ask for it back."
Teachers have also expressed unease of Pokit having such a powerful object in her possession for safety reasons.
"I am terrified, " science teacher Ms. Dena N. Adam said. "I don't even look at her work when I grade it, I just put an A at the top."
With the ultimate power laying in the hands of Pokit, there isn't much anyone can do about it. There have been attempts from other students to steal the gauntlet from her locker, but none have been very successful.
" I was so close," Al Mose said. " I was pulling it out of her locker when she caught me. Now I have to walk on my hands as punishment."
The Secret Society of [REDACTED] has requested to stay anonymous and stands as the most secretive locker club to exist within MBMS.
“It all started with Baker,” the [REDACTED] PR team said. “ It is said that as the foundations were being poured, the former leader and founder of [REDACTED] imprinted his hand in the concrete where this infamous locker sits.”
The society had to go through great lengths to get and keep the locker in their possession, and since the Secret Society of [REDACTED] had not become official until [REDACTED], getting the locker had proven to be a challenge.
“[The locker] was hard to get to, it was a lot of under the table trades and payments,”[REDACTED], the current leader of the Secret Society of [REDACTED] said.
Once they had the locker, they renovated it to make it the home of the society’s meetings.
“With the in-ground pool and the air hockey table, I was hooked, “ [REDACTED], a new recruit, said. “And the sound system is perfect for playing all three High School Musical tracks at once, which is part of our rituals.”
[REDACTED] disappeared after he failed as a recruit for the Secret Society of [REDACTED].
“We’ll miss him dearly and have no idea where he went, we just hope that he is okay, “ The PR team said.
