Our newspaper and yearbook staff are very excited to present to you the June 2024 Satire edition! For the first time, the newspaper and yearbook staff have worked together to produce this edition.
WARNING: The contents of The Canine Comical are purely fictional and intended to be humorous, satirical. Readers are advised not to confuse them with real incidents.
Satire is the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices. Satire is fully humorous and fictional. In this edition, AI has been used. It is not used in any of the writing, it is only used in modifying some of the graphics and interactive components.
The TCC staff followed several rules to ensure a humorous online newspaper that could be enopyed by all MBMS students, staff, and sourrounding community. Those rules are listed below:
Student names may be used if their quotes are genuine and accurate. (You must supply notes and written email confirmation to publish.)
Staff members (MBMS teachers and other faculty) may be parodied or satirized if they have full knowledge of the satire. Let them in on the JOKE. (You must supply notes and written email confirmation to publish.)
All celebrities may be parodied if you modify their names, e.g. Taylor Quick, Dustin Jieber.
Under creative license laws, you may use photos or likenesses of celebrities with copyrights for the sake of parody, satire, and humor. MAKE SURE YOU GIVE CREDIT to the original photos and create something original with their likeness.
South Auburn's finest news source has featured several important events this year.
A new school is being built next year, an upside down school where students teach teachers.
A new program has taken MBMS by storm, the Adopt-A-Middle-School-Boy program. Already, the school has been getting better and cleaner.
There will be a battle of the bands, with Mr. Carter premiering in his K-Pop band.
Next year, there will be new clubs and electives for students to join, like a competitive walking team and N.A.P.S. & procrastination electives.
Teachers have been fighting against cancel culture and being transported into cartoons, all while teaching at MBMS.
The answer to the age-old question of “Is Warring Bigfoot?” will be answered. All of this and more can be found in this edition of the Canine Comical!
