Satire is the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices. Satire is fully humorous and fictional. In this edition, there are some words that are misspelled across multiple features, for pure comedic purposes. AI has also been used. It is not used in any of the writing, it is only used in modifying some of the graphics and interactive components.
The TCC staff followed several rules to ensure a humorous online newspaper that could be enjoyed by all MBMS students, staff, and surrounding community. Those rules are listed below:
Student names may be used if their quotes are genuine and accurate. (You must supply notes and written email confirmation to publish.)
Staff members (MBMS teachers and other faculty) may be parodied or satirized if they have full knowledge of the satire. Let them in on the JOKE. (You must supply notes and written email confirmation to publish.)
All celebrities may be parodied if you modify their names, e.g. Taylor Quick, Dustin Jieber.
Under creative license laws, you may use photos or likenesses of celebrities with copyrights for the sake of parody, satire, and humor. MAKE SURE YOU GIVE CREDIT to the original photos and create something original with their likeness.
