Reveals opportunities to adopt and adapt examples of evidence-based practices from successful STEM programs
Serves as the basis for prioritization and informed action planning to accelerate success of Hispanic/Latinx STEM students
Provides insight to expectations for the Seal of Excelencia
Establishes a starting point to initiate Institutional Transformation to Hispanic-Serving Identity in STEM
After they form their STEM-ESS Team, organizations can take the STEM-ESS Assessment as part of the STEM-ESS Institute professional development offering, within a sponsored research project, or as an initial step in a fee-for-service STEM-ESS bundle.
Very helpful as it put everything in an organized way and allowed us to articulate clearly the direction we want to go. (STEM-ESS Assessment)
I liked two things about the CSA: information came from participants and an outside perspective on that information was useful.
It was so helpful to see where we are to figure out where we want to go so that we can truly SERVE our students. (CSA)
We already set-up a meeting to share with key stakeholders and will share the assessment and plan so we can keep building on it
