In Taiwan, most of the people are affiliated to a certain religious organization. Religions in Taiwan are diverse and includes aspects of Chinese traditional culture. There are four religions are really popular in Taiwan right now. According to the article “Religious Beliefs In Taiwan”, Buddhism is the most common religions in Taiwan about 35.1% of the population. Taoism as the second most common religions by 33% of the population. 18.7% of the population in Taiwan is irreligious which is Atheism. Yiguandao as the least famous religious in Taiwan only has 3.5% of the population. There are a lot of holidays in Taiwan, but these two are the most important. The first one is the Chinese new year, it is in late January or February. The most important holiday throughout the year. It is time for the family to get together and celebrate the new year. The second one is the Mid-Autumn Festival, it is the Chinese traditional holiday that people enjoy the glorious full and eat moon cake to express homesickness
