Embed Video in Canvas
After you’ve located and copied the embed code for your YouTube video, all that remains is to paste that code into the Canvas page where you’d like your students to see the video. Generally, it is good practice to create an overview page for each module in your course, as well as some sort of introduction page for the course overall. Those types of pages are the perfect place to embed your introduction videos.
NOTE: We recommend that you do not modify the embed code in any way after pasting it in the corresponding Canvas page. While it’s possible to modify the embedded video’s options via the code, there’s a high likelihood that an issue will be caused to the code and the video will not be embedded properly.
