This series of modules has attempted to demonstrate techniques for developing and implementing behavior change interventions for sustainability on campus. It has also offered ideas for how to teach about these topics and how to integrate learning with practice.
The modules have explored how to prepare your project with a clear vision for behavior change, design a targeted intervention for your context, evaluate potential strategies and the project's success, and the considerations skills needed for effective project management and stakeholder engagement. Weaving all of these strands together requires collaboration and an iterative process, as well as embedding your intervention in its specific context.
Moving forward, we encourage you to reflect critically on the ideas presented in this course and consider how to apply what you have learned in implementing or teaching about behavior change interventions for sustainability. Though the process of achieving these objectives can be complex and demanding, we hope that you feel more confident in navigating challenges and achieving change.
As you consider what steps you might take next to apply what you've learned, we encourage you to return to the Introduction module and consider how you can use this curriculum moving forward. The table above makes some initial suggested actions for you to work with in your role as you advance as a change agent for sustainability on campus, in the community, and beyond.
Thanks for Exploring the Interventions Curriculum
