Activity Summary
In this step you will learn how to add a fade-to-black feature at the end of your talking head clips. This step adds an ending effect to your videos. Make sure to follow this step closely, you will be adding it in where you would like the fade to black to start. This step will be the last piece of editing done to your video, make sure to save your video after this step before moving on to the exporting portion.
Now you will add a fade to black feature at the end of your talking head video clip.
In the timeline bar at the bottom of the video, hover your mouse over your final talking head clip and two white shapes will appear in the upper corners of the clip box.
Drag the shape on the right hand side over to the left mark where you want to start the fadeout.
The shape appears when the mouse hovers over the clip.
The shape has been dragged to the left, and the fadeout has been applied.
Once you are satisfied with the fadeout and the other edits that you made to your video, make sure to save one more time before moving on to exporting your video to YouTube.
