If you are a new hire, please review the basic onboarding tasks to expedite your access to ASU's email and learning management system. After you are hired, important information will be sent to the email address you provided in your HR profile during the application process. Be sure to check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive an email with your activation code to create your ASURITE ID, which is necessary to access any ASU system.
You will receive an offer letter via email from the Department of English's HR representative. Please review, sign, and submit it by the deadline included in letter. Next Steps for the HR on-boarding process are included with your letter.
Complete the HR follow-up/verification tasks necessary for processing your hire (submitting your I-9, tax-withholding information, etc.). See your offer letter for complete details. If you worked for the university within the last 12 months, you should not have to resubmit an I-9. You will receive an automated email directing you to the I-9 system if it is required.
An ASURITE ID and password are required to access ASU online services, including your online classroom. For additional security, ASU requires two-factor authentication each time you log in to ASU's systems- though you can opt to have the system remember your device for a period of seven days.
Once hired, ASU will send you an ASURITE activation code via the email address you used to create your account on the HR application site. Go to ASURITE Activation and enter the code to begin. There are instructions to follow on the activation site if you have not received the email with the code. Additionally, you can follow up with the department's HR representative to have the code resent.
If you have previously established an ASURITE ID (as a faculty or student), you can contact the Help Desk at 1-855-278-5080 to recover it.
Enroll in DUO Two-Factor Authentication:

Review the information included with your offer letter, which will indicate any required training you must complete as part of your hire. Information security awareness training is required annually for all employees who access ASU IT systems. You must complete the training within 30 days of your hire date, and annually to avoid suspension of your access to ASU's systems. To access the online, self-paced "ASU Information Security Training," follow the instructions from the ASU Information Security Office. For questions or comments regarding the training, please email infosec@asu.edu.
