Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. I am thrilled to have your child in my class this year. I am also excited about the opportunity to get to know you and your family. I am planning for a year filled with learning and excitement!

I’d like to begin with some background information about my teaching philosophy and myself. To begin, I earned a Bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in Human Development/Education. From there I earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Bowie State University and then went on to earn Doctoral degree is Educational Leadership. I have been a teacher for several year and I am a National Board Certified teacher and Arizona Master Teacher. I am married to an amazing man, Ed, and have two sons, Cameron 17 and Carter 12. We have a great time together as a family and enjoy being silly, cooking, travelling and just hanging out. In my “free” time I enjoy creating cards and scrapbooking our family adventures. It will be an AmAZing school year.
