Mrs. Andersen

Welcome to 1st grade! My name is Jennifer Andersen and I am extremely excited to be teaching 1st grade at ASU Prep Academy. This is my 15th year of teaching, with the bulk of my experience spent in K-6 grade classrooms. I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from ASU, and a Master's in Reading/Curriculum Instruction.

On a more personal note, I have been married to my wonderful husband Rick, for 23 years. We are the proud parents of 2; both are student/athletes at ASU. Our son Mason is a junior. He attends WP Carey School of Business, and plays golf for ASU. Our daughter Abby is a sophomore at ASU. She is pursuing a degree in Criminology and plays softball. As you can see, we are a BIG ASU family!
