About Me

Ms. Cornacchio

I look forward to working with you and your child. I have been teaching Special Education for 20+ years and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. You can expect a dedicated teacher that will work endlessly to provide a positive and stimulating learning environment for your child.

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

-- Albert Einstein

I grew up in a very small town near Seattle, WA called Enumclaw. I have always wanted to become a teacher. I started tutoring in high school and never stopped teaching.

I have a BA from the University of Washington and a M.Ed. from Antioch University. I taught in Seattle for 12 years where I was a resource room teacher (K-8th grades) and a literacy coach. My husband got tired of the rain, so we moved to Arizona with our two children, Peter (Sophomore at ASU) and Katy (11th grade at Desert Vista High School). Our family is excited to spend our 11th year in Arizona. In my spare time I like to read, hike South Mountain, and swim.

I love teaching! Please stop by and say hi. I would love to meet you!
