"PROGRAMA OFICIAL"
Upper School students in ASM´s "Programa Oficial" follow regular grade 9-12 schedules (meeting graduation requirements) PLUS the following courses:
- "Español Grado 9", in grade 9.
- "Español Grado 10", in grade 10.
- "Español Grado 11", in grade 11.
- "Español Grado 12", in grade 12.
Students following the "Programa Oficial" in grades 9-12 (having met certain requirements in the previous years) are entitled to:
- Validate their studies at ASM through grade 10 for the Spanish equivalent of "Graduado/a en Educación Secundaria Obligatoria".
- Validate their studies at ASM in grades 11 and 12 for the Spanish equivalent of "Título de Bachiller".
- Apply for admission to Spanish universities. Students may need to take the admissions examinations known as "Pruebas de Acceso a la Universidad" (PAU) in order to apply for admission to certain public universities. For this purpose, ASM offers "Historia de España", which students may follow as a preparation for these examinations.
