My name is Shivaan, and I'm excited for this year's ASIJMUN!
This will be my final Model United Nations conference after a four-year high school career, and I hope to make it a memorable one. As Security Council Head Chair, my goals are twofold: to facilitate understanding of the UNSC and the complex issues it discusses, and to cultivate connection in our conference. So, expect to both engage with our UNSC topics fruitfully and have some fun.
I'm really looking forward to meeting you all and getting to know you better, not just as delegates but also as individuals! See you in April!

My name is Dylan Cha, and I am a Junior at The American School in Japan in Tokyo. I have been participating in Model United Nations for the past two years, and though I've been doing it for a short time, I've grown to really enjoy it. MUN has helped me grow as a speaker and leader, and I am super excited to be chairing for my first time at this conference. Outside of academics, I am a basketball fan and enjoy both playing and watching games.
I'm looking forward to chairing and listening to this debate. I think we've got some really interesting topics chosen for us.
