Hey delegates! My name is Junu Min, and I am a senior at the American School in Japan. I started MUN in 8th grade. Since then, I have loved the discourse and debate I experienced as a delegate. If the UN4MUN procedure looks a bit daunting, don’t fret! I felt the same way when I was first introduced to it a couple of years ago at ASIJMUN, but I can assure you that you’ll enjoy the freedom and increased consensus!
Outside of MUN, I’m the current ASIJ student body president. You might also have seen me at KPASS debate tournaments, either projecting at the front or behind the scenes managing pairings, or overthinking geometry questions at KPASS math field days.
In my free time, I like to listen to music, analyze 1-2 player strategy games, ski, and spend time with my 6-year-old sister.
Best of luck to you all, and I’m looking forward to meeting you in April! Please feel free to reach out to me at 26minj@asij.ac.jp if you have any questions!
