Hi delegates,
My name is Shota Sato, and I am currently a junior at St. Mary’s International School. I began my Model United Nations journey in my freshman year and have since developed a strong passion for debate, diplomacy, and global affairs. Throughout my MUN experience, I have received Best Delegate awards more than 5 times, including at Yale Model United Nations Singapore, where I represented Lithuania on the ASEAN committee.
Outside of MUN, my primary hobby is baseball. I have been a member of the varsity team since my freshman year and currently play as a utility player, allowing me to contribute at multiple positions as needed.

Hello delegates!
My name is Mireille, and I’m a senior at the American School in Japan. I’ve been involved in Model United Nations for two years and have really enjoyed debating global issues, traveling overseas to conferences, and meeting people from diverse backgrounds along the way. These experiences have shaped and strengthened my passion for international relations and languages, which I plan to pursue in the future. I’m honored to be chairing SPECPOL alongside my co-chair, Shota, for my final high school conference. Outside of MUN, I wrestle, play badminton, and shadow my school’s athletic trainer on the field. I’m really looking forward to meeting all of you and having a great conference together!
