5th Grade

Welcome to 5th Grade in Puffer Fish Middle School!

Fifth grade is a year full of new and exciting things. It is not just any year; it is the first year in Middle School. Here, the students have hallway lockers for the first time. They have a variety of teachers and move between classrooms during the school day.  Our curriculum is designed to challenge the students academically, to develop their critical thinking, and to help them acquire the necessary academic and organizational skills to be successful in Middle School.  The fifth grade team works hard to make sure that our students become responsible, self-confident and organized individuals.

Teachers meet daily to plan, discuss problems related to academic aspects or student issues, or to meet with parents.  Our teaching team maintains good channels of communication with parents to make each quarter a successful one for our students.
