Hi...so thanks for coming! Let's tell you more:
Got a new scope and want to learn how to use it?
Got a scope and want to learn how to use it better?
Do you just like looking at the stars and want to learn more?
Come see us the first Tuesday of the month for our beginners session at the Weldon Springs Interpretive center. A map can be found at this link. How about taking a look at these pages while you're at it:
You can also join us at the interpretive center on the second Saturday of the month (6PM to 9PM) for our potluck dinner and follow on astronomy meeeting!
Got a scope or binoculars and want to use them more? How a bout just a plain desire to look up and see more stars under darker skies? Come on out to Broemmelsiek Park Astronomy Site.
It's the only park in the area (in fact the only park in the state) dedicated specifically to astronomy and the use of telescopes, binoculars or just your eyes!
We also get together at the park every Friday night (weather permitting) to set up our scopes and let you take a look - it's totally free!
