This syllabus was compiled by Bram van Laarhoven and is maintained by the ASAC education committee.
For the current syllabus, grateful use was made of the previous syllabus, co-authored by Iris van 't Wout.
The following individuals provided feedback during the writing process — many thanks to: Ywen Verloren van Themaat, Deusa Knoope, Fabian Reinshagen, Robert Jan Schlimbach, Koen Greuell, Simone Griffioen, Paula Vanneste.
The illustrations in this syllabus were taken from a wide range of sources. Various mountaineering books, catalogs from climbing gear manufacturers, and informational material from the NKBV were used. In addition, photos and videos were produced by ASAC instructors. To the best of our knowledge, these images are either copyright-free or fall under educational use exceptions.
