A message from our Fabulous Media Specialist!
I am not sure if you are aware of it but ABDO publishing opened their digital library for free to all librarians, educators, parents and students for free up to June 30th, 2020.
There is no need to sign up with email addresses and so. There is a generic login and password for all. ABDO upgraded the servers in the past three weeks and it is working fine. They have a very good section for grade 6 to 12 students. Please check it out.

If you need recommendations for private schools,
you must complete the following:
Students, you must verbally ask your teachers for your recommendations.
If the recommendations are online, the links must be sent to each teacher after you have verbally asked for the recommendation.
If forms are paper, Recommendation Form(s)must be post-it noted
with the due date(s), and come to school with a pre-addressed
envelope(s) with a stamp affixed to the corner.
Students, you must write a brag sheet of activities,
hobbies, clubs, service projects that you participate
in school and out of school. Include why you
participate and if you hope to continue in any of these
activities through high school.
Parents, you must submit a separate request to the office for records
and Guidance recommendations.
Recommendations will be completed in the order they are received
and if they are accompanied by the necessary written work and supplies.
The LC requirements are VERY different from the forms you
fill out for the Guidance Department.
Thank you,
EARTH Learning Community Teachers
