School of Education

Office of Credentials

The Office of Credentials provides a centralized place where prospective and current students, faculty, and staff can receive accurate and comprehensive information regarding the requirements involved in obtaining California Teaching or Services Credentials authorizing service in California schools.

The Office of Credentials is here to provide a full range of services to assist credential candidates in meeting their credential goals.  The Credential Analysts serve as a liaison between the student and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

Credential Analysts also serve as the academic advisors for all programs within the Division of Teacher Education that result in a preliminary teaching credential.

Welcome to the

Office of Credentials

Please Note: Office staff are back working from the office. We still recommend that individuals needing assistance begin by reaching out by phone or email to their Credential Analyst.
