Honors Diploma Seal

High school students can gain state recognition of exceeding Ohio's graduation requirements through an Honors Diploma. Graduates challenge themselves by taking and succeeding at high-level coursework and in real-world experiences.

APS communicates to students the options to earn an Honors Diploma and the criteria required for students to earn one of the six options. The students' school counselors will assist.

Students can earn this seal by completing the requirements of any of the following six diploma types:

  1. Academic Honors Diploma

  2. Career-Tech Honors Diploma

  3. International Baccalaureate (IB) Honors Diploma

  4. STEM Honors Diploma

  5. Arts Honors Diploma

  6. Civics and Social Sciences Honors Diploma

There are no forms or documentation needed from the student to complete this seal. APS will automatically credit students who meet the criteria with the seal.
