We provide support in literacy to districts and community schools throughout Stark, Wayne, and Holmes counties in alignment with Ohio's Plan to Raise Literacy Achievement (PDF) and other Ohio Department of Education and Workforce literacy initiatives (website). Ohio’s Theory of Action is designed to help ensure that all learners have access to high-quality language and literacy instruction and appropriate intervention from birth through grade 12. To achieve this alignment, our Regional Literacy Support Team coordinates efforts through the following strands: shared leadership, multi-tiered systems of support, educator capacity, family partnerships and community collaboration.

Advancing Literacy Outcomes: A Deep Dive Into the Advanced Tiers
By the end of this professional learning series, participants will be able to:
Evaluate Advanced Tier Implementation: Analyze district and school-level reading practices against specific R-TFI 2.0 item criteria to identify implementation strengths and growth areas.
Develop High-Leverage Artifacts: Co-create, refine, and customize operational artifacts aligned to R-TFI standards for immediate district implementation.
Establish and Facilitate Systems for Data-Based Decision Making: Design structured processes for monitoring student progress, evaluating intervention fidelity, and making data-informed adjustments within the advanced-tier reading systems.
All sessions will be virtual from 9-11:30 am
