ALL IN Student Leadership Academy

The vision for the ALL IN Student Leadership Academy is to inspire teens to make positive change within their communities for education and business by leading with integrity, creativity, and collaborative action. Through mentoring by community leaders and educators, students will experience business networking, employment skill-building, development of entrepreneurial initiatives, and explore career, college, and workforce opportunities.

The ALL IN Student Leadership Academy is coordinated by a student leadership council and district coordinators.

This year, students had meaningful opportunities to witness and experience leadership in action. From participating in the International Day of Peace, where students explored trustworthiness, innovation, and problem-solving, to visiting the University of Akron to learn about pathways to higher education and community engagement, each experience contributed to their personal growth and leadership development. Students attended the 33rd Annual MLK Jr. Mayors’ Breakfast, where they observed the values of fairness, service, scholarship, and community exemplified by local leaders and changemakers. Students also heard from local politicians and others who are making a difference in their communities at Stark State College. Rounding out the year, each team shared its leadership presentations at Nickajack Farms, which reinforced the importance of citizenship and community involvement.

Overall, this year has been filled with opportunities for asset building, amplifying student voice, leadership development, and real-world learning experiences that encouraged students to grow as thoughtful, engaged, and empowered leaders within their school and community.
