Week 1-Lesson #1: Learning Target: Reading/Singing/Writing Do Re Mi So

1. Watch the video: Do Re Mi So Challenge-video. Sing through each challenge, using hand signs and your voice.

2. Draw 5 lines and create 2 new Do Re Mi So patterns on a piece of paper. When done, Fill out the Google Form below. If you are able, take a picture of your pattern using the device of your choice. Add the picture of your Do Re Mi pattern to the Google Form.

Week 1-Lesson #2: Lesson Target-Reading rhythms

Rhythm Clap Along Level 2-video

1. Read the rhythms in the video using syllables: ta, ti-ti, rest

2. Read again, tapping the the rhythms with your hands or a wooden spoon on a table. After practice, play for an adult.

3. Using a piece of scrap paper, write 8 squares to represent 8 beats. Write an 8-beat rhythm. Upload your rhythm on the Google Form below.

4. Sing concert songs posted above-sing the two songs. See how much you have memorized by singing again without looking at the lyrics.
