College-Supplied Books for the ZTC Goal
Many classes are using books that are impossible or very difficult to convert to Open Educational Resources. Examples include novels, popular non-fiction, and highly specialized science atlases that included detailed images. There are also disciplines in which OER has not been fully developed and the college has opted to purchase class sets of textbooks as a stop-gap measure so discipline faculty have more time to research and create OER for their classes. The texts (including links) are listed below by Career and Academic Community. You can request books by filling out the Impossible to Convert to OER form.
