The best leaders are In-Tune and have a great deal of self awareness.
They know what it feels like to work for them, how they come across to others, and how to get the best out people given their strengths, weaknesses and quirks but this isn't easy.

Managing is like handling things in a moderate way, not too hard and not too soft.
In lot of situation best management is no management at all.
Managers - Overestimate "own" value and brining lot of problems by over nagging or watching employees.

Devote less attention to their people
Allow them to act without asking for permission
Avoid enforcing rules - resulting is lesser innovation and problem solutions.
This is only as the situation allows.
