In Art Club, the emphasis is on the process of creating art. Students create art in multiple mediums and many styles. It is an opportunity to gain more experience in learning the visual elements of art, such color, line, shape, and mass. Students also gain more understanding of the principles of design, such as unity, proportion, and scale. This club also helps with confidence in the creation process by learning how to make a "mistake" work to the appeal of the overall art piece. Art Club is currently for 2nd - 4th grade students.
