Jesus is Our TRUE Sabbath REST!
In part 1 of this series of studies, we covered the first 20 arguments for why seventh day of the weekly Sabbath-keeping Christians sincerely believe are “scriptural” reasons for why Christians MUST keep the weekly Sabbath DAY as a DAY of rest lest a Christians SINS.
And we learned that among those so-called 20 “different” arguments there were actually only 8 different arguments and I was being gracious to give them the benefit of the doubt.
To me, out of those 20 points in part 1 there were only five different arguments.
And in part 2 of this study, we have covered 30 more Sabbath-keeping arguments which, in truth, were actually only 11 different arguments.
So then, out of 50 so-called “different” arguments that we have covered thus far there have actually been only 19 different arguments.
And again, I am being generous. And in the remaining 10 arguments, 3 of those arguments are repeated arguments that we already covered in parts 1 and 2.
And again, two points are used for one argument which leave just 6 actual arguments.
So then, out of the 60 so-called “different” arguments there are actually only 25 different arguments for the Sabbath which prove NOTHING but that the Sabbath being on the “seventh” day and the Sabbath was kept by the children of Israel under the Old Covenant.
And neither of those things prove that the weekly Sabbath day must be kept by Christians under the New Covenant written in the New Testament.
And again, to me, that is deceptive teaching on the part of the Sabbath-keeping article to inflate the number or reasons for the Sabbath to make it sound as if there is a massive amount or sound biblical PROOF for keeping the weekly Sabbath DAY as a DAY of REST.
Now, why do I say “deceptive” teaching? To me, any teaching that only gives ONE side of the argument is BIASED teaching.
And “biased” teaching is DECEPTIVE because you are not HONESTLY being told everything you need to know to make your own intelligent choice as to what the Bible ITSELF teaches us in SIMPLICITY.
And the Bible itself clearly teaches us that there are TWO COVENANTS.
There is the covenant of PROMISE that God gave to Abraham, and then, there is the covenant of WORKS that God gave to the children of Israel at Mount Horeb.
So, simply ask yourself WHICH covenant are YOU UNDER?
Now, almost all Christians will say that they are under the New Covenant but being under the New Covenant means different things among different Christians.
And the seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians believe that they are SAVED under the New Covenant WITHOUT any works so that God “empower” them to KEEP the Old Covenant.
So, THEY believe that Christians must keep BOTH covenants in order to receive eternal life in the world to come.
And in argument #51 in this Sabbath-keeping argument that I am quoting from, they claim that the Apostle Paul KEPT the weekly Sabbath day as the Jews under the Old Covenant.
Here is argument number 51.
ARGUMENT FOR THE SABBATH #51.
In all the accusations that the Jews brought against Paul not one single accusation was ever brought against Paul for NOT keeping the Sabbath day.
This is absolute proof that Paul KEPT the Sabbath day the same as the Jews kept the Sabbath day.
For how can we explain that the Jews never accused Paul of NOT keeping the Sabbath day if so be that Paul did not keep the Sabbath day?
First of all, I want you to notice that if Paul kept the Law of Moses the SAME AS the Jews then the Jews would have brought no accusations against the Apostle Paul.
So then, the mere FACT that Paul was heavily persecuted by the Jews actually proves that Paul did NOT keep the weekly Sabbath day at all.
For you see, every Christian knows and understands that the keeping of the Sabbath DAY under the Old Covenant involves the keeping of DAYS because there are 52 Sabbath DAYS every year.
And under the Old Covenant the children of Israel were required by the WORKS of the law to REST for 24 hours on the “seventh” day of the week each and every week.
And not just to rest for 24 hours but to also rest at a very specific TIME which was from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday.
That was the LETTER of the Law of God under the Old Covenant CONTAINED in ORDINANCES written in the book of the Law of Moses.
So then, under the Old Covenant the WORKS of the law observing or the keeping of DAYS was a REQUIREMENT lest a Jew would sin.
And thus, IF the Apostle Paul did keep the weekly Sabbath day the SAME as the Jews as this Sabbath-keeping article CLAIMS then Paul would have never taught AGAINST the keeping of DAYS.
But the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us in SIMPLICITY with no interpretation needed that Paul taught AGAINST the works of the Law of Moses to observe DAYS, MONTHS, TIMES, and YEARS.
In other words, Paul taught against the keeping of the WEEKLY Sabbath DAYS, the MONTHLY new moon Jewish festivals, the TIMES of resting from sunset to sunset, and the YEARLY feast day Sabbaths.
Please read Galatians 4:4,5,9-31.
“But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Galatians 4:5. To REDEEM them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons...
Galatians 4:9. But NOW, after that you have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn you again to the weak and beggarly elements, where unto you desire again to be in bondage? (Paul is talking to BOTH the Jewish Christians and the Gentile Christians desiring to be under the Law of Moses.
Now, if Paul kept the weekly Sabbath day then Paul would have encouraged us as Christians to DESIRE to be under the Law of Moses to observe DAYS.
But that is not what Paul is teaching us. Paul calls being under the law BONDAGE.
And thus, Paul is saying that keeping the weekly Sabbath DAY as a DAY of REST is BONDAGE. These are Paul’s words, not mine)
Galatians 4:10. You observe DAYS, (Speaking of the WEEKLY Sabbath DAYS) and MONTHS, (Speaking of the monthly new moon festivals) and TIMES, (Speaking of the specific times of resting from sunset to sunset) and YEARS. (Speaking of the the yearly feast day Sabbaths)
Galatians 4:11. I am afraid of you, (Or I am afraid FOR you Christians desiring to be under the law of Moses to keep DAYS of obligation lest you sin) lest I have bestowed upon you labor in VAIN. (Paul was in fear for their very salvation because they were keeping DAYS that were required to be kept in very specific ways under the Old Covenant.
But under the New Covenant Jesus FULFILLED those ceremonial ordinances of keeping DAY.
And thus, Jesus abolished those ORDINANCES contained in the FOURTH commandment.
So NOW, under the New Covenant we KEEP the fourth commandment by keeping the SPIRIT of the fourth commandment and NOT the OLDNESS of the LETTER of the old ordinances of the fourth commandment)
Galatians 4:12. Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as you are: (Paul is speaking specifically to the Jewish Christians here because Paul was a natural born Jew.
And Paul is saying for us as Christians to be as Paul was.
And CLEARLY, Paul was in FEAR FOR the Christians who were observing DAYS that were taught under the Law of God as being mandatory days that must be kept by the children of Israel who were UNDER the LAW.
Paul was in fear that the gospel he preached to them was in VAIN unless he could convince them to return to keeping the TRUTH of the gospel.
In other words, Paul was in fear of them losing their salvation if they continued to keep DAYS as being an OBLIGATION lest they sin) you have not injured me at all. (Paul was heavily persecuted by the unsaved Jews but Paul was also “preached at” so to speak by the Jewish Christians that were subverting and compelling the Gentile Christians to keep the Law of Moses.
So, Paul is saying that your preaching the Law of Moses to me has not affected me at all because I know the TRUTH)
Galatians 4:13. You know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
Galatians 4:14. And my temptation which was in my flesh you despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
Galatians 4:15. Where is then the blessedness you spake of? (Or where is the joy you used to have for the gospel that you received when you first believed?) For I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
Galatians 4:16. Am I, therefore, become your enemy, because I tell you the TRUTH?
Galatians 4:17. THEY zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that you might affect them. (The “THEY” here are the Jewish Christians and the unsaved Jews who believe that to be pleasing to God then you must keep the Law of Moses.
And THEY were very “zealous” Judaizing Christians.
Now, for all seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians, does your own pastor warn you to NOT get too close to NON Sabbath-keeping Christians because you might be “DECEIVED” to no longer keep the weekly Sabbath DAY?
YES! If you are honest, all church denominations warn their flock to stay away from any church that does not teach the SAME as what they teach.
And that is good advice if your church is NOT teaching the TRUTH and you do not want to LOSE church members. But if your church is teaching the TRUTH then you have no worries because the truth always exposes false teaching)
Galatians 4:18. But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you. (Paul is saying, STOP being affected by THEM that are wrongly teaching you to observe DAYS under the Old Covenant and START being zealously affected by the TRUTH that Paul is teaching us under the New Covenant written in the New Testament)
Galatians 4:19. My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, (Paul was agonizing in intercessory prayer with pain in his spirit as a woman in physical pain of childbirth for the Christians, who were keeping the WEEKLY Sabbath DAYS as days of obligation to rest lest they sinned.
Paul was praying for them to come back to the TRUTH of the gospel and CEASE from the WORKS of the law of righteousness)
Galatians 4:20. I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in DOUBT of you. (Or I am worried about your very salvation because you are no longer obeying the TRUTH of the gospel of Jesus Christ to REST in Jesus for holiness and righteousness.
Why are you desiring to keep what Jesus abolished and nailed to the cross?)
Galatians 4:21. Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, do you not HEAR the law? (Or do you not UNDERSTAND that the law is a SCHOOLMASTER or a TUTOR leading you to Jesus?)
Galatians 4:22. For it is written, that Abraham had TWO sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
Galatians 4:23. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; (Or was born under the Law of Mose and is obligated to do the WORKS of the law) but he of the freewoman was by promise. (Or you were born-again from above to be under the Law of LIBERTY to be FREE in Jesus Christ from the YOKE of BONDAGE under the Old Covenant.
You have been REDEEMED from being UNDER the law)
Galatians 4:24. Which things are an ALLEGORY: for these are the TWO covenants; (Jesus said that he came to FULFILL the law and the prophets because the Scriptures TESTIFY of Him.
And the Apostles of Jesus teach us that the Old Testament is filled with TYPES, FIGURES, SHADOWS, and ALLEGORIES that teach us about Jesus and the NEW COVENANT.
And if you do not know and understand that there are TWO DIFFERENT COVENANTS then you will not be able to discern the TRUTH) the one from the mount Sinai, (Or the first covenant that was given to the children of Israel at Mount Horeb or at Mount Sinai) which genders to bondage, which is Agar.
Galatians 4:25. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
Galatians 4:26. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. (Or the OTHER COVENANT established in the shed blood of Jesus is all about setting us FREE.
And the New Covenant is the one that we ALL will ANSWER to on the Day of Judgment.
So then, WHICH COVENANT are you keeping? If you are KEEPING the fourth commandment by RESTING on the seventh DAY of the WEEK every week then you are keeping the WRONG covenant.
Paul just got finished saying that he was in FEAR for the Christians keeping DAYS which is clearly referring to the keeping of the WEEKLY Sabbath DAYS.
Paul says the same thing in Colossians 2:14-16, so I implore you to read the study Dd-3. WHAT DOES COLOSSIANS 2:14-17 TRULY MEAN?
And instead of try to explain away the teachings of the Apostle Paul to argue that Paul could not possibly mean that the keeping of the WEEKLY Sabbath DAYS was abolished, open your heart to hear the TRUTH before it is to late)
Galatians 4:27. For it is written, Rejoice, you barren that bear not; break forth and cry, you that travail not: for the desolate has many more children than she which has an husband.
Galatians 4:28. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. (Or we, as Christians, are under the NEW COVENANT to NOW serve God in NEWNESS OF SPIRIT and NOT in the OLDNESS of the LETTER of the law, according to Romans 7:6)
Galatians 4:29. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. (And the seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians “persecute” us who know the TRUTH by their subverting weak Christians to keep ORDINANCES under the OLD Covenant in the Law of commandments to God or UNTO Yahweh which are all the CEREMONIAL commandments of service toward Yahweh and not toward our fellow man.
And again, to me, it would NOT be PLEASING to God or to Jesus for Christians to keep what Jesus ABOLISHED and nailed to the cross to take out of the way by FULFILLING the SHADOWS in the ceremonial commandments)
Galatians 4:30. Nevertheless, (Or do not worry about being troubled by the seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians. For you see,) what says the Scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall NOT be heir with the son of the freewoman.
Galatians 4:31. So then, brethren, we are NOT children of the bondwoman, but of the free.”
Paul is saying that we are NOT under the OLD Covenant that is BONDAGE, but rather, we are under the NEW COVENANT established in the shed blood of Jesus that is LIBERTY.
Let us continue with argument number 52.
ARGUMENT FOR THE SABBATH #52.
Acts 25:8 The great Apostle Paul HIMSELF declares that he KEPT the LAW, the law of the JEWS, the law of the temple and the law of Caesar saying that he had not offended in ANYTHING at all. So HOW could this be true if so be that Paul did NOT keep the Sabbath day as the JEWS?
In other words, seeing that Acts 25:8 clearly says that Paul did NOT SIN against the LAW then how is it possible that Paul did NOT KEEP the weekly Sabbath DAYS as commandment under the Law of Moses?
What seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians fail to see and understand is that the LAW TESTIFIES of Jesus!
Did not Jesus say to the unbelieving Jews that Moses SPEAKS of Jesus?
Please read John 5:44-47.
“How can you believe, which receive honor one of another, and seek NOT the honor that comes from God only?
John 5:45. Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom you trust.
John 5:46. For had you believed Moses, you would have believed Me: for he wrote of Me.
John 5:47. But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe My words?”
And in Deuteronomy 18:15-19, Moses writes a PROPHECY about Jesus being the Prophet that God would raise up.
And whosoever does NOT OBEY the WORDS of Jesus will be held accountable.
Now, the seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians THINK that they are obeying Jesus.
But in truth, they are actually obeying Moses and DISOBEYING Jesus.
For you see, Jesus said if you love Me then you will keep My commandments.
Jesus did NOT say, if you love Me then you will keep the Law of Moses.
And neither did Jesus say, if you love Me then you will keep the TEN Commandments.
But rather, Jesus said, if you love Me then you will keep My commandments.
And under the New Covenant Jesus gave us just TWO commandments to keep.
And that is why Paul said that he had NOT SINNED against the Law of Moses because Paul knew the TRUTH that the law was simply a SHADOW pointing to Jesus and Paul was indeed keeping faith in Jesus as his REST for holiness.
In other words, Paul KEPT the law and the prophets by obeying what Jesus himself taught Paul to obey under the new Covenant written in the New Testament.
Jesus said that if you believe the words of Moses then you will believe Jesus because Moses WROTE about Jesus.
Please read the study Dd-16. WHAT DO THE ALEPH TAV MEAN?”
Let us move on to argument number 53.
ARGUMENT FOR THE SABBATH #53.
The Sabbath day is mentioned fifty nine times in the NEW Testament bearing the same name as in the Old Testament being kept on the SEVENTH DAY of the week.
Actually, the word “Sabbath” is MENTIONED 60 times in the New Testament in the King James Bible.
But again, this argument is a REPEAT which we already covered. Please read the study Dd-2. IS THE SABBATH IN THE NEW TESTAMENT?
But for now, please know that just because the word “Sabbath” is found in the New Testament does NOT mean that we must KEEP the Sabbath DAY as a DAY of rest as it is instructed in the ORDINANCES contained IN the FOURTH commandment.
For you see. Jesus abolished those ORDINANCE so that we can now keep the SPIRIT of the fourth commandment. And the spiritual meaning of resting on a DAY SHADOWS our TRUE REST in Jesus for being SANCTIFIED or being made HOLY by FAITH in the shed blood of Jesus to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Let us move on to argument number 54.
ARGUMENT FOR THE SABBATH #54.
Not a single word in the New Testament is mentioned about the Sabbath day being ABOLISHED, having CEASED, having been done away, having been CHANGED, having been FULFILLED in Jesus or anything else that teaches us that we as Christians are NOT to keep the Sabbath day of REST the same as the JEWS. The Sabbath day has always been on the SEVENTH DAY of the week.
This shows just how DECEIVED the seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians have become.
Rather than BELIEVING the words written in the New Testament under the New Covenant, they try their hardest to explain them away by “INTERPRETING” Paul’s words to fit their OWN preconceived belief that the keeping of the WEEKLY Sabbath 24 hour DAY of rest is an ETERNAL commandment.
Exodus 31:13-17 does NOT say for a perpetual COMMANDMENT. But rather, that passage of Scripture says that the keeping of the weekly Sabbath day as a day of rest was given only to the children of Israel for THEM to keep throughout THEIR generations as a SIGN for a perpetual COVENANT.
And thus, when the New PERPETUAL Covenant was established in the shed blood of Jesus the keeping of DAYS ended.
In other words, Jesus abolished the ORDINANCES contained in the fourth commandment and NOT the fourth commandment ITSELF.
And the ordinances are the INSTRUCTIONS in the handwriting of Moses on HOW to keep the fourth commandment according to the OLD Covenant.
And NOW, under the New PERPETUAL Covenant we KEEP the FOURTH commandment by our FAITH in Jesus as our TRUE Sabbath REST for holiness, righteousness.
And by our keeping the TWO commandments of Jesus, we are keeping ALL that God requires for us to keep in order to receive eternal life in the world to come.
And if a Christians tries to keep BOTH covenants at the same time, then they are NOT truly keeping EITHER covenants.
So you have to make a CHOICE. WHICH covenant will YOU keep? Will you keep the covenant of PROMISE? Or will you make the WRONG choice and try keeping the covenant of WORKS?
I implore you to read the studies Dd-5. WHAT DOES CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES MEAN?, Dd-3. WHAT DOES COLOSSIANS 2:14-17 TRULY MEAN?, andDd-4. WHAT DOES EPHESIANS 2:8-15 TRULY MEAN?
But for now, let us move on to argument number 55.
ARGUMENT FOR THE SABBATH #55.
God has never given his permission to WORK on the Sabbath day, the SEVENTH DAY of the week.
So by what authority dear Christian do YOU WORK on Saturday the SABBATH DAY doing common labor and not RESTING on this the Lord’s day thereby defying the commandment of Almighty God HIMSELF to honor the Sabbath day by RESTING from all your work?
Now, in TRUTH, it is the letter of the law, seventh day of the WEEK Sabbath-keeping Christians who are NOT honoring the SPIRIT of the fourth commandment.
For you see, they are keeping what Jesus suffered on the cross to ABOLISH and NAIL to the cross to REDEEM the children of Israel who are under the law.
We just got through reading that in Galatians chapter 4. Paul teaches us over and over again that we are NOT UNDER the law so why serve you the law?
When we read the LITERAL translation of all the Scriptures in the Old Testament with the word “Sabbath” in them, then we can see the untranslated Aleph and Tav, the FIRST and the LAST letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
Again, Jesus said, “I am the FIRST and the LAST”. And Jesus said that the Scriptures testify of him.
So, simply translate the Aleph and Tav as Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus and you can see the “hidden” prophetic MEANING of Sabbath pointing to three things.
#1. The SIGN of the keeping of the weekly Sabbath DAY as a 24 hour DAY of REST points to Jesus as our TRUE Sabbath REST.
#2. The SIGN of the keeping of the weekly Sabbath DAY as a 24 hour DAY of REST points to Jesus as our ENTRANCE into the New PERPETUAL Covenant established in the shed blood of Jesus.
#3. The SIGN of the keeping of the weekly Sabbath DAY as a 24 hour DAY of REST points to Jesus being the Lord of the Sabbath in the world to come.
Jesus will rule FOR Yahweh during Yahweh’s Seventh 1000-year long DAY of His Sabbath REST.
In other words, the SIGNIFICANCE of resting on the seventh DAY is a SHADOW point to the Seventh 1000 year long day of Yahweh’s Sabbath REST in the world to come.
So then, when you read the word “Sabbath” in the Old Testament, think of the law as being PROPHECY that is FULFILLED in Jesus is one of the three ways you just read.
There is a PURPOSE of WHY the ceremonial commandments were ADDED until Jesus CAME.
And that purpose was for Jesus to FULFILL the laws and the prophets and NOT ABOLISH the commandment ITSELF.
Clearly, you can understand that Jesus did NOT ABOLISH the commandment of SACRIFICE for the forgiveness of sins ITSELF.
But rather, what Jesus abolished and nailed to the cross was the WAY in which the law of sacrifice USED to be kept under the Old Covenant.
And NOW, under the New PERPETUAL Covenant we are KEEPING the COMMANDMENT of sacrifice ITSELF but in a NEW WAY. And the NEW WAY of KEEPING the commandment of sacrifice for forgiveness of sins in by our FAITH in Jesus as the ONLY TRUE sacrifice that God accepts for the forgiveness of sins.
So, God gave us PERMISSION by COMMANDING us to keep the NEW Covenant. And the Christians who are trying to keep the OLD Covenant are actually DISPLEASING God rather than pleasing God.
Sabbath-keeping Christians say that they do not keep the fourth commandment to be saved and they only keep the weekly Sabbath day to be PLEASING to God.
But, in truth, it is NOT pleasing to God what Jesus suffered on the cross to ABOLISH. And Jesus abolished all the ORDINANCES contained in ALL of the ceremonial commandments.
And the FOURTH commandment is a ceremonial commandment that CONTAINED ORDINANCES.
Again, please read the study Dd-5. WHAT DOES CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES MEAN?
Let us move on to argument number 56.
ARGUMENT FOR THE SABBATH #56.
Not one single believer and follower of Jesus either before or after the cross ever WORKED for themselves to meet their own needs on the SABBATH day.
Find just ONE single case and we will YIELD to the question to no longer dogmatically teach that Christians MUST keep the Sabbath day. But until then WHY should modern Christians NOT be taught to keep the Sabbath day of REST in the same manner as the early church and the JEWS?
Here is one single case where the Apostles of Jesus WORKED on the Sabbath day and Jesus DEFENDED them for WORKING on the Sabbath day.
Please read Matthew 21:1-8.
“At that time Jesus went on the Sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
Matthew 21:2. But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, your disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the Sabbath day. (Notice that Jesus did NOT deny that they were WORKING on the Sabbath day.
But rather, Jesus DEFENDED them for WORKING on the Sabbath day)
Matthew 21:3. But he said unto them, Have you not read what David did, when he was an hungry, and they that were with him;
Matthew 21:4. How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the show bread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
Matthew 21:5. Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?
Matthew 21:6. But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. (Jesus is referring to himself as being made Lord of the Sabbath in the world to come, according to Acts 2:36.
For you see, Jesus was made Lord after the cross. In fact, Jesus did not actually become the Messiah or the Christ, the Savior until after the cross and the resurrection.
Jesus was anointed at his baptism and Christ also means anointed as well as meaning Messiah or Savior)
Matthew 21:7. But if you had known what this means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the guiltless.
Matthew 21:8. For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day.”
Jesus is not saying that he is Lord of the WEEKLY Sabbath day.
But rather, Jesus understood that the weekly Sabbath day points to the TRUE Seventh day of Yahweh’s rest in the world to come that was prophesied in Genesis 2:1-3.

And Dd-36. The TEN COMMANDMENTS Were NOT GIVEN to ADAM?
The second part of argument 56 ask WHY should Christians NOT be taught to KEEP the weekly Sabbath as a DAY of REST?
To answer this question I will ask another question. Would you deliberately teach any Christians to do what you KNOW that Jesus ABOLISHED and NAILED to the cross?
For example, would YOU yourself teach Christians that they should offer animal sacrifices to have their sins forgiven?
NO! Of course you would never teach Christians to do what you know that Jesus abolished and nailed to the cross.
So then, if you knew from the Scriptures that Jesus abolished the ORDINANCES contained in the fourth commandment, then would you deliberately TEACH Christians to KEEP those ORDINANCES?
For example, one of the ORDINANCES contained in the FOURTH commandment is to STONE to DEATH those who BREAK the fourth commandment by WORKING on the Sabbath day.
Please read Numbers 15:32-36.
“And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the Sabbath day.
Numbers 15:33. And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
Numbers 15:34. And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. (Now, think about the Sabbath argument that the keeping of the weekly Sabbath day was “supposedly” given to Adam at creation week.
And for some 2,500 years God never told anyone what the PUNISHMENT would be for breaking the Sabbath day if that Sabbath-keeping argument were true?
Can you not see that the keeping of the weekly Sabbath day was ADDED until Jesus CAME?)
Numbers 15:35. And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: ALL the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
Numbers 15:36. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.”
Now, would YOU teach your Sabbath-keeping brothers and sisters in the Lord to STONE YOU if they ever caught YOU WORKING on the Sabbath day?
Does it not specifically state as a FACT with no interpretation needed in the Old Testament under the Old Covenant to STONE to DEATH the person that breaks the fourth command by WORKING on the Sabbath?
YES! That is exactly what the Scripture COMMANDS, so WHY are you NOT teaching your Sabbath-keeping followers to JUDGE other Christians for NOT keeping the weekly Sabbath day, to STONE them to DEATH?
Does it not say that if you break just ONE POINT of the law then you are found guilty of breaking the whole law?
YES! And if you obey the one point to REST, but you fail to keep the other point to STONE your brother or sister in the Lord to DEATH, then you are as GUILTY as the one WORKING on the Sabbath day.
But we KNOW that Jesus ABOLISHED that ordinance contained in the FOURTH commandment, so that is WHY we do NOT teach Christians to STONE each other to DEATH for WORKING on the weekly Sabbath day.
So then, WHO made YOU, as a seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christian, the judge to say that Jesus did NOT abolish ALL of the ORDINANCES contained in the FOURTH commandment?
And what if you are WRONG and you are teaching Christians to keep what Jesus suffered on the cross to ABOLISH by FULFILLING the FOURTH commandment? So I implore you to read the studies Dd-4. “WHAT DOES EPHESIANS 2:8-15 TRULY MEAN?, Dd-3. “WHAT DOES COLOSSIANS 2:14-17 TRULY MEAN?, and Dd-5. “WHAT DOES CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES MEAN?
Let us continue with argument number 57.
ARGUMENT FOR THE SABBATH #57.
There is no Biblical record of God ever removing his BLESSING or his SANCTIFICATION of KEEPING the Sabbath, the SEVENTH DAY of REST.
First of all, the Scripture does NOT say that keeping the weekly Sabbath DAY as DAY of REST SANCTIFIES you.
The word “sanctify” means to MAKE HOLY and simply resting on the seventh day of the week does NOT MAKE a person to be HOLY.
Exodus 31:13-18 actually teaches us that it is Yahweh who makes us HOLY or CLEAN and PURE.
And Deuteronomy 5:1 says for children of Israel ONLY to sanctify it speaking of the actual literal 24 DAY.
But when we read the LITERAL translation we can see that making holy the seventh DAY is a SHADOW pointing to making holy Jesus, as in, SEEING Jesus to be the Holy One of Israel prophesied to come.
Let us read Exodus 31:13-18 again.
“Speak you also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) My Sabbaths you shall keep: for it (Or he, Messiah Jesus) is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations; THAT (Or so THAT) you may KNOW that I am the LORD that does SANCTIFY you. (Was this SIGN given to the Gentiles? No! The SIGN of keeping the seventh day of the week holy was ONLY given to the children of Israel for THEM to keep throughout THEIR generations as a SCHOOLMASTER, so THAT they would KNOW that it is Yahweh who SANCTIFIES them. And NOT that the keeping of a day of rest sanctifies them.
But rather, Yahweh sanctifies them by FAITH in His Son Jesus, the ONLY NAME given among men whereby we MUST be saved. Jesus is the SIGN of being in the New PERPETUAL COVENANT)
Exodus 31:14. You shall keep (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath THEREFORE; for it (Or he, Messiah Jesus) is holy unto you: (Or he, Messiah Jesus is Holiness unto you.
This is why Paul teaches us that Jesus is the END of the law FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS) every one that defiles it (Or everyone that defiles him, Messiah Jesus) shall surely be put to death: for whosoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. (In other words, any Christian in Jesus that does the WORKS of the law that Jesus suffered on the cross to ABOLISH by FULFILLING the law shall be cut off from among the people.
And that is why Paul was in FEAR for the Christians in his day that were keeping DAYS, MONTHS, TIMES, and YEARS desiring to be under the Law of Moses that Jesus FULFILLED.
Obviously, the New Testament clearly teaches us that we must obey all the MORAL commandments.
But there is not one single TEACHING in the New Testament that we must REST on ANY DAY of the week, month, or year)
Exodus 31:15. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: (Notice that it says in the seventh is the Sabbath of REST.
This is speaking of the Seventh 1000-year long day of Yahweh’s Sabbath REST in or DURING the world to come) whosoever does any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
Exodus 31:16. WHEREFORE the children of Israel shall keep (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath, to OBSERVE (Or to DISCERN and PERCEIVE the meaning of WHY the keeping of a DAY of the WEEK was given to the children of Israel in the first place for THEM to keep Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
Exodus 31:17. It (Or he, Messiah Jesus) is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed.”
Now read Deuteronomy 5:11,12.
“You shall not take (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the NAME of the LORD your God in VAIN: (Or you shall not RECEIVE the NAME of Jesus for futility) for the LORD will not hold (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) him guiltless that takes (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) his NAME in VAIN.
Deuteronomy 5:12. Keep (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath day (Speaking PROPHETICALLY of the Seventh 1000-year long Sabbath day of Yahweh’s REST in the world to come) to sanctify it, (Or to HALLOW Messiah Jesus) as the LORD your God has commanded you.”
So then, in truth, God actually blessed the REAL Seventh 1000-year long day in the world to come as being the Sabbath that God made for man and Jesus will rule as the Lord of THAT SABBATH day of Yahweh for 1000 years.
This is why Peter said to NOT be ignorant of this ONE THING, a DAY with the Lord is AS a 1000 years and a 1000 years as a DAY.
Again, please read the study Dd-16. WHAT DO THE ALEPH TAV MEAN?
Let us move on to argument number 58.
ARGUMENT FOR THE SABBATH #58.
Isaiah 66:22,23 As the Sabbath was kept BEFORE the fall of mankind so shall it continually be observed in the restitution of all things for all eternity in the new heavens and the new earth.
First of all, the Sabbath day was NOT kept by ANYONE from Adam to the children of Israel being delivered out of bondage in the land of Egypt.
Simple read Deuteronomy 5:1-6.
“And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the statutes and (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) judgments which I speak in your ears THIS DAY, that you may LEARN (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) them, and keep, and do them.
Deuteronomy 5:2. The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
Deuteronomy 5:3. The LORD made NOT (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here ALIVE THIS DAY.
Deuteronomy 5:4. The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,
Deuteronomy 5:5. (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the word of the LORD: for you were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,
Deuteronomy 5:6. I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.”
This one passage of Scripture proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that God did NOT give the commandment of keeping the seventh day of the week as a day of rest to ANYONE BEFORE Mount Horeb after God delivered the children of Israel out of bondage in the land of Egypt.
Secondly, Isaiah 66:23 is NOT speaking about the New heaven and the New Earth that God will create AFTER the 1000-year reign of Jesus ruling FOR Yahweh in the NAME of Yahweh as the Lord of the Sabbath in the world to come.
For you see, there will be no dead bodies in the New heaven and the New Earth and the very next verse says that they will look upon the dead bodies.
But you see, God will DESTROY death and the grave at the end of the Seventh 1000-year long DAY of Yahweh’s Sabbath REST in the world to come.
So then, verse 22 is speaking of the New heaven and the New earth and verse 23 begins, “And it shall come to pass”. This phrase is used to start a NEW subject.
And thirdly, the use of the phrases, “from one new moon to another” and “from one Sabbath to another” are simply figures of speech like “from one day to the next”.
It is like the expression or figure of speech in Acts 1:12, “a Sabbath day’s JOURNEY.”
For you see, Jesus ascended into heaven on a THURSDAY, so their journey back to the city of Jerusalem was on a Thursday and NOT on the Sabbath day.
So then, NEITHER expression or figure of speech has anything to do with KEEPING the Sabbath day.
In other words, DURING the 1000-year reign of Jesus, the people in their MORTAL bodies will be taught the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
And from one day to the next, or from one new moon to another and from one sabbath to another people will be saved and come to worship Jesus as their Lord and Savior to the glory of Almighty God the Father.
The Bible ITSELF clearly teaches us that there will be NO KEEPING of the weekly Sabbath day or the keeping of the new moon festivals DURING the Seventh 1000-year long DAY of Yahweh’s Sabbath REST.
Read the Scriptures for yourself.
Please read Isaiah 1:10-14.
“Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small REMNANT, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah. (This prophecy will be FULFILLED at the second coming of Jesus.
God will have mercy and lift His WRATH lest He does not leave Himself a REMNANT of Israel, according to Micah 7:18-20)
Isaiah 1:10. Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah. (Or you who have survived the wrath of God UNDERSTAND the TRUE MEANING of the Law of God that was ADDED UNTIL Messiah Jesus came to die on the cross for your sins)
Isaiah 1:11. To what PURPOSE is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me? says the LORD: I am FULL of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight NOT in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
Isaiah 1:12. When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
Isaiah 1:13. Bring no MORE vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto Me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is INIQUITY, even the solemn meeting. (So then, during the Sabbath of Yahweh in the world to come it will be a SIN to keep the new moon festivals and the weekly Sabbath days)
Isaiah 1:14. Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates: they are a trouble unto Me; I am weary to bear them.”
Basically, God is fed up with the children of Israel sanctifying themselves by doing the WORKS of the LAW that Jesus FULFILLED.
In other words, the FULFILLMENT of the SHADOW of the weekly Sabbath 24 hour day of REST is the TRUE Seventh day in the world to come.
And the TRUE Sabbath of Yahweh during the 1000-year reign of Jesus is all about teaching the children of Israel to CEASE from keeping the Law of Moses which they DELIGHT in doing.
Please read the following verses of Scripture.
Hosea 2:11.
“I will also cause ALL her mirth to CEASE, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.”
Amos 5:21.
I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
Some seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians such as the Seventh Day Adventist Christians argue that the weekly Sabbaths are NEVER called FEAST days.
But, according to the Bible ITSELF, the weekly Sabbath days ARE, indeed, called FEAST day.
Please read Leviticus 23:2,3.
“Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
Leviticus 23:3. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; you shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.”
So then, the FIRST feast that Yahweh lists is the WEEKLY Sabbath day and then He lists the other seven feast days which are the YEARLY feast days.
And ALL of the seven yearly feast days are also called Sabbath days.
And thus, when God says in Amos 5:21, “I hate, I despise your FEAST days” then God is saying, “I hate, I despise ALL of your feast days INCLUDING your WEEKLY Sabbath FEAST days.”
Clearly, there will be no keeping of the weekly Sabbath day during the 1000-year reign of Jesus in the world to come.
Let us move on to argument number 59.
ARGUMENT FOR THE SABBATH #59.
Exodus 20 The Sabbath day should never be taken lightly for God gave commandment of the SEVENTH DAY of REST out of his very own mouth and engraved it in STONE by his very own FINGER.
During the ministry of God's very own SON Jesus emphatically stated in Matthew 5:17-19 that he did NOT come to DESTROY the LAW but that he came to FULFILL or ESTABLISH the law.
These are the same arguments over and over. We have already covered both of these arguments, but they can be summed up, in that, the keeping of the Sabbath day was given to the children of ISRAEL to be kept throughout THEIR GENERATIONS.
And in the world to come, there will be no MORE GENERATIONS of CHRISTIANS.
For you see, we shall be like the angels to no LONGER MARRY or be given in marriage to have any more children to produce any more GENERATIONS in the world to come.
However, the remnant of ISRAEL and those left alive of the nations will go into the SEVENTH 1000-year day in their MORTAL bodies to WORK, to build house and to have CHILDREN and produce future GENERATIONS throughout the Millennium.
The age of man during the 1000-year reign of Jesus will be 100 years old making no less than ten GENERATIONS of ISRAEL during the SEVENTH 1000-year DAY of our Lord God the Almighty.
And as far as the Sabbath argument on Matthew 5:17,18 please read the four part in-depth study Dd-45. “HAS GOD'S LAW BEEN ABOLISHED? Part 1
But for now, here is the short version. The word translated as “DESTROY” in Matthew 5:17-18 comes from the Greek word “KATALYO” which means throw down, to abolish, to destroy.
HOWEVER, this Greek word “KATALYO” ALSO means to destroy UTTERLY, to overthrow COMPLETELY.
In other words, this Greek word that is translated as “DESTROY” in the King James Version and as “ABOLISH” in the New International Version carries with it the meaning that Jesus did not come to COMPLETELY ABOLISH the law.
So then Matthew 5:17,18 should have been translated as follows.
A more correct translation of Matthew 5:17,18.
“Think not that I am come to UTTERLY DESTROY or to COMPLETELY ABOLISH the law, or the prophets: I am not come to UTTERLY or COMPLETELY DESTROY, but to FULFILL.
Matthew 5:18. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till ALL be FULFILLED.”
And the TRUE SOUND BIBLICAL meaning of one jot or tittle not passing away is speaking of the REST of the law meaning the CEREMONIAL law, as in, not one jot or tittle of the CEREMONIAL law will pass away until ALL of the CEREMONIAL law be FULFILLED at the second coming of Jesus and during the 1000-year reign of Jesus.
Also these words of Jesus mean that Jesus will fulfill the REMAINDER of what the prophets prophesied at his SECOND coming and during his 1000 year reign.
Now some of you may argue that I am changing God's word to make it say what I want it to say, but in TRUTH, I am just pointing out to you, the reader, the seeker of the TRUTH, that in the original language these Greek words sometimes have many different meanings and the English translation that we read is just that, a TRANSLATION.
In other words, this verse could have just as easily been translated as UTTERLY destroy or COMPLETELY abolish which would then AGREE with the REST of God's word without trying to manipulate, twist, or change many other CLEAR, PLAIN and SIMPLE passages of Scripture.
To say this another way, Jesus did NOT abolish the MORAL commandments. In fact, Jesus did NOT abolish the FOURTH commandment ITSELF.
But rather, Jesus abolish the ORDINANCES contained in the fourth commandment by FULFILLING those ordinances that were SHADOWS point to Jesus, the New PERPETUAL COVENANT in Jesus, and the TRUE Seventh 1000-year long Sabbath DAY of Yahweh’s Sabbath REST in the world to come.
Let us move on to the last argument for the Sabbath, argument number 60.
ARGUMENT FOR THE SABBATH #60.
Yes, Jesus did condemn the Pharisees for being hypocrites and not truly loving God, but rather, they were pretending to love God by their man made TRADITIONS by which those particular Jews made void ONE of the TEN commandments by the TRADITIONS of men.
The keeping of SUNDAY is a TRADITION of MEN!
You may be asking yourself is KEEPING the SEVENTH DAY SABBATH important?
In closing please closely consider Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are they that do his COMMANDMENTS that they may RIGHT to the tree of LIFE and may ENTER through the gates into the city.”
The ONE commandment that the Jews broke by following their “tradition” was the fifth commandment to honor your father and your mother.
In truth, the fourth commandment is far more than just showing respect toward your mother and your father.
The fourth commandment is about providing for your father and your mother in their old age or in case of a sickness.
And the “tradition” of the Jews was that if they gave a GIFT to help their parents out then they were FREE from the obligation to care for the needs of their parents.
This is found in Matthew 15:1-9 and Mark 7:1-13.
But the main point in this Sabbath argument is that the Roman Catholic Church CHANGED the DAY of resting from Saturday to Sunday.
Now, this particular Sabbath writer does not say the Roman Catholic Church changed the DAY of resting to Sunday, because that argument has been prove FALSE, by simply showing that the early church for the first five hundred years worshiped God on Sunday, the FIRST day of the week which they also called the EIGHTH day and the Lord’s Day.
Please read the quotes from the early church writers Dd-20. DID THE EARLY CHURCH KEEP THE SABBATH DAY?
But for now, let us take a closer look at Revelation 22:14,15 that is a very serious WARNING to ALL Christians.
Please read Revelation 22:11-15.
“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. (In other words, right before Jesus splits the eastern sky all humans will be JUDGED in a split second. And those living in SIN will NOT be given the right to inherit eternal life in the world to come to rule and reign with Jesus.
And the faithful Christians in Jesus will be judged worthy to receive eternal life to rule with Jesus during the world to come for 1000 years)
Revelation 22:12. And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (In other words, the rapture will take place in a twinkling of an eye, so fast that there will be no time to repent.
Also, notice that the word “WORK” is in the singular. And the ONE WORK that MUST be found by the angels of Jesus is the work or ACT of being WASHED in the BLOOD of the Lamb, Jesus our Lord and Savior, according to 1 John 5:1-5. When I see the BLOOD I will pass over you)
Revelation 22:13. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (Or I am the Aleph and the Tav, the FIRST and the LAST letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Jesus said that the Scriptures TESTIFY of him and the untranslated Aleph and Tav is found over 7,000 times in the Old Testament Scriptures.
And many of those times the Aleph and Tav is right before the word “Sabbath” which, to me, is a hidden prophecy or SHADOW that points to Jesus as being our TRUE Sabbath REST for holiness, righteousness and salvation so that we will be accounted worthy to eat of the tree of life at the coming of Jesus)
Revelation 22:14. Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Please notice that this verse does NOT say, Blessed are they that keep the Law of Moses.
And neither does it say, Blessed are they that keep the TEN Commandments.
But rather, it says, Blessed are they that do his commandments.
And under the New Covenant written in the New Testament, Jesus gave us just TWO commandments, according to Matthew 22:36-40.
And when Jesus was asked WHICH commandments must be kept to receive eternal like Jesus listed the SIX MORAL commandments that are in the TEN Commandments.
Jesus says NOTHING about RESTING on the seventh DAY of every WEEK, not even to suggest that it is healthy to rest one day a week.
Now, notice who is NOT given the right to enter into the City of God during the 1000 year reign of Jesus)
Revelation 22:15. For WITHOUT are dogs, (Even the dogs eat the crumbs off the table) and sorcerers, (Drugs, legal and illegal. But also witchcraft) and whore mongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and maketh a lie.”
Now, your average everyday Sabbath-keeping Christians has no idea that they are making a LIE.
But rather, they simply LOVE “parroting” what their Sabbath-keeping church denomination teaches to them.
So I ask you, is it a LIE to teach Christians things that are NOT the TRUTH? And do Christians LOVE teaching what their church denomination teaches them? The answer to both of these questions is YES!
But does that make the Christians who do not KNOW that they are teaching LIES to be LIARS? I would say No to that question, but I am not the judge.
So to me, the best thing to do is to search the Scriptures DAILY to SEE if what your church denomination teaches you is true or false.
Do this SIMPLE test to KNOW which commandments that Christians MUST obey in order to receive eternal life in the world to come.
In other words, whenever we read the word “COMMANDMENTS” in the New Testament then WHICH commandments are we to KEEP?
Here is the test, 1 John 5:1-5 teaches us in SIMPLICITY that the commandments that Christians MUST keep are NOT GRIEVOUS.
And according to Acts 15:10,24 the keeping of the commandments in the Law of Moses ARE GRIEVOUS to bear.
Acts 15:10,24.
“Now, therefore, why TEMPT you God, to put a YOKE upon the neck of the disciples, which NEITHER our fathers NOR we were ABLE to BEAR?...
Acts 15:24. Forasmuch, as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have TROUBLED you with words, SUBVERTING your souls, saying, You must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:”
And are not seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians doing the SAME thing, TEMPTING God by teaching Christians to KEEP what Jesus FULFILLED and thus ABOLISHED and nailed to the cross?
To me, the answer is YES!
Here is another SIMPLE test to see if your church denomination is teaching you the truth or that which is false.
Does your Sabbath-keeping church denomination teach you that pork is an UNCLEAN meat and that you should abstain from eating pork?
If they do teach you to abstain from eating meat, then they are teaching doctrines of DEVILS, according to 1 Timothy 4:1;6.
1 Timothy 4:1-6.
“Now the Spirit speaks EXPRESSLY, (Or the Holy Spirit speaks with clarity and distinctly says, as in Thus says the Lord God Almighty) that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1 Timothy 4:2. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1 Timothy 4:3. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from MEATS, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the TRUTH.
1 Timothy 4:4. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1 Timothy 4:5. For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
1 Timothy 4:6. If you put the brethren in remembrance of these things, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto you have attained.”
So then, if you Sabbath-keeping church denomination teaches you to abstain from eating meat that is called unclean in the Old Testament under the Old covenant then they have been deceive by seducing evil spirits and they are teaching doctrines of DEVILS by teaching you to abstain from eating meat.
And they are TEMPTING God by placing a YOKE around your neck to keep what Jesus FULFILLED and thus ABOLISHED and nailed to the cross.
So now you have a choice to make, either BELIEVE the TRUTH written here in 1 Timothy 4:1-6 or continue believing doctrines of DEVILS.
As for me, I chose to believe the TRUTH to be a GOOD minister teaching GOOD doctrine that does not contradict any other part of God's word.
And I implore you to continue searching for the TRUTH of the WHOLE word of Almighty God before it is TOO LATE!

Once Christians, Jews, Muslims, and even atheists understand the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands.
And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
