Jesus Was MADE the Lord of the TRUE Sabbath!
What is the “Aleph” and the “Tav”? The “Aleph” is the FIRST letter of the Hebrew alphabet like the Greek letter “alpha” is the FIRST letter of the Greek alphabet.
And the “Tav” is the LAST letter of the Hebrew alphabet like the Greek letter “Omega” is the LAST letter of the Greek Alphabet.
And in Revelation 22:13 Jesus said that he is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the FIRST and the LAST.
Revelation 22:13.
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the FIRST and the LAST.”
In other words, in Hebrew Jesus would have said, “I am the Aleph and the Tav”, the beginning and the end of the Hebrew alphabet, I am the FIRST and the LAST letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
And in John 5:39, Jesus said that the Scriptures TESTIFY of him.
So then, in Revelation 22:13, Jesus is saying, I am the word, I am the Scriptures
In other words, the Scriptures prophesy of me.
Please read John 5:39-47.
“Search the Scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which TESTIFY of me. (In other words, the Scriptures give us WITNESSES hidden in them of Jesus being the FULFILLMENT of the Scriptures.
And in the light of the Aleph and Tav, the FIRST and the LAST letters of the Hebrew alphabet, verse 39 here is a clue to SEARCH the Scriptures for the untranslated Aleph and Tav because the Aleph and Tav TESTIFY of Jesus)
John 5:40. And you will not come to me, that you might have life. (But some of the children of Israel did not believe that Jesus is the one prophesied in the Scriptures)
John 5:41. I receive not honor from men.
John 5:42. But I know you, that you have not the love of God in you.
John 5:43. I am come in my Father's name, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.
John 5:44. How can you believe, which receives honor one of another, and seek not the honor that comes from God only?
John 5:45. Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom you trust. (Jesus is teaching us to SEARCH the Scriptures that were written by the hand of Moses because hidden in those verses of Scripture are the Aleph and the Tav which give WITNESS to Jesus as being the one who FULFILLED the Scriptures.
Jesus fulfilled not only the Scriptures that Moses wrote in the LAW by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit but Jesus also fulfilled all the law AND the prophets, according to Matthew 5:17-19)
John 5:46. For had you believed Moses, you would have believed me: for he wrote of me. (In other words, if you TRULY believe the teachings of Moses under the Old Covenant written in the Old Testament, then you will believe the teachings of Jesus under the New Covenant, written in the New Testament, according to Deuteronomy 18:15-19)
John 5:47. But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe my words?”
So then, Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible but in this study we will focus only on the hidden Aleph and Tav in the verses of Scripture with the word “Sabbath” in them.
And in part two of this study we will focus on the Scriptures with the Aleph and Tav connected to the word COMMANDMENTS of God. Now the word “Sabbath” can refer to several DIFFERENT things.
#1. The word “Sabbath” can refer to the “weekly” Sabbath days.
#2. The word “Sabbath” can refer to the yearly feast day Sabbaths.
#3. The word “Sabbath” can refer to the TRUE Seventh 1000-year long DAY of Yahweh’s Sabbath rest in the world to come.
#4. The word “Sabbath” can refer to the TRUE Sabbath REST in Jesus for Holiness and righteousness.
So do not always ASSUME that the word “Sabbath” must always refer to the “weekly” Sabbath days.
Let us begin this study on the Sabbath and the Aleph and Tav by reading the verse of Scripture in Exodus 16:23 where the word “Sabbath” is found for the very first time in the Bible.
Exodus 16:23.
“And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD has said, Tomorrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which you will bake to day, and seethe that you will seethe; and that which remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.”
Now, the reason that I say “hidden” witnesses pointing to Jesus is because the Aleph and Tav, the FIRST and the LAST Hebrew letters, are very seldom translated.
And if a Christian does not study the Bible using the Strong’s numbers or a literal translation showing the Hebrew words, then they may have never even heard of the Aleph and the Tav as being pointers to important words in the Bible.
So then, the untranslated Aleph and Tav are kind of like “red flags”, saying, pay attention, there is something that Yahweh is trying to show us.
And since most of the Alephs and theTavs that we will be looking at in this study all point to Jesus as being the TRUE Sabbath or TRUE REST that Yahweh desires us to perceive and understand, I have translated the Aleph and Tav as (Aleph and Tav Messiah Jesus) so that these two untranslated Hebrew letters will stand out.
Let us now read the CONTEXT of Exodus 16:23 WITH the Aleph and Tav translated as Aleph and Tav Messiah Jesus.
Please read Exodus 16:22-31.
“And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
Exodus 16:23. And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD has said, Tomorrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto the LORD: bake that (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) which you will bake to day, and (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) seethe that you will seethe; and that (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) which remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
Exodus 16:24. And they laid it (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
Exodus 16:25. And Moses said, Eat that to day; for today is a Sabbath unto the LORD: today you shall NOT find it in the field. (Now, if so be that all of mankind had been keeping the seventh day to rest upon since creation week then the children of Israel would have already known not to go out and gather bread to eat on the seventh day.
And even after they are specifically told that there would be no bread in the field to gather on the seventh day, some of them went out to gather bread on the seventh day.
To me, these verses of Scripture in Exodus 16:25-27 prove that the children of Israel had been gathering Manna for seven days a week for quite some time before they were commanded to start gathering two days worth of Manna on the sixth day and no longer gather Manna on the seventh day.

Exodus 16:26. Six days you shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, in it there shall be NONE.
Exodus 16:27. And it came to pass, that there went out SOME of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. (Again, these verses of Scripture prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that the children of Israel did NOT rest on the seventh day BEFORE God delivered them from the land of Egypt.
They would have already known to NOT work on the seventh day. And the truth of the matter is that they were being TAUGHT to rest of the seventh day for the very first time)
Exodus 16:28. And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse you to keep my commandments and my laws? (The laws and the commandments being spoken of here are the commandments that Yahweh gave to Moses to give to the children of Israel to TEACH them HOW to rest on the seventh day.

Exodus 16:29. See, (Or know and understand) for that the LORD has given you the Sabbath, therefore, he gives you on the sixth day the bread of TWO DAYS; (This is prophetically speaking of the TWO 1000-year long days of the church age in this present world when the TRUE MANNA, the TRUE BREAD of LIFE had been preached or fed to the Jews) abide you every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. (Prophetically speaking, the TRUE Seventh day is the 1000-year long DAY of Yahweh’s Sabbath REST in the world to come)
Exodus 16:30. So the people rested on the seventh day.
Exodus 16:31. And the house of Israel called (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the name thereof Manna: (And Jesus said in John 6:30-35 that he is the TRUE BREAD from heaven that gives eternal life.
Jesus knew that the ALEPH TAV Scriptures were prophecies of him.
So here in verse 31 you can clearly see how the MANNA is a figure or SHADOW pointing to Jesus and being the TRUE BREAD from heaven) and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.”
Now, what I want you to see is that whenever the Aleph and Tav are connected to the word “Sabbath”, then Yahweh desires us to see the PROPHESIED Sabbath rest in Jesus.
In other words, Yahweh wants the children of Israel to OBSERVE or DISCERN that the children of Israel resting for 24 hours on the seventh day of the week is a hidden PROPHECY of the TRUE REST in Messiah Jesus to be SANCTIFIED by Yahweh.
And when there is NOT Alpha Tav in the context of the word “Sabbath” then the word “Sabbath” can either mean the weekly Sabbath days or the TRUE 1000-year long Sabbath of Yahweh in the world to come.
And if it means the feast day Sabbaths then the context will clearly show us that the word “Sabbath” is speaking of the yearly feast day Sabbaths.
Let us continue to search the Scriptures for the Aleph and Tav.
Please read Exodus 20:7-11,24.
“You shall not take (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) his name in vain.
Exodus 20:8. Remember (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. (The LITERAL translation says to keep him holy or hallow him)
Exodus 20:9. Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:
Exodus 20:10. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God: (Again, prophetically speaking, the word “Sabbath” here is speaking of the TRUE Seventh 1000-year long DAY of Yahweh’s Sabbath REST in the world to come.
For you see, Jesus will rule FOR Yahweh in the NAME of Yahweh as the Lord of the Sabbath for 1000 years in the world to come.
I highlighted the word “Sabbath” in orange to emphasize that many times the word “Sabbath” is a prophecy or shadow referring to the yet future 1000 year long Seventh day of Yahweh’s Sabbath rest in the world to come) in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:
Exodus 20:11. For in six days (Representing six 1000-year long days) the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: (Actually, the LITERAL translation of Exodus 20:11 reads, “and he is stopping in day of seventh.” which is prophesying of the TRUE seventh 1000-year long day of Yahweh’s Sabbath rest in the world to come.
Also, Genesis 2:1-3 is a PROPHECY. The literal translation clearly translates that God will be finishing His work on the seventh day.
The literal translation says, he is FINISHING the work of him, in the day of seventh, and he is ceasing in the day of seventh.
Thus, the TRUE seventh day is the 1000-year reign of Jesus.
Please read the study Dd-22 The Weekly Sabbath Was NOT Given at CREATION WEEK!) wherefore, the LORD blessed (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath day, and hallowed it (Or hallowed him, Messiah Jesus the NAME of Yahweh who comes in the name of the Lord, according to Matthew 23:29.
Jesus was made Lord to rule FOR Yahweh during the seventh 1000-year-long day in the world to come.
That is why Jesus said that he is the Lord of the SABBATH.
Jesus is the Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus NAME of Yahweh.

...Exodus 20:24. An altar of earth you shall make unto me, and shall sacrifice thereon (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) your burnt offerings, and (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) your peace offerings, your sheep, and your oxen: in all places WHERE I RECORD (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) my name I will come unto you, and I will bless you.”

Yahweh has recorded or written the Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus name all through the ceremonial commandments, including the FOURTH commandment.
And God did this as a SCHOOLMASTER for the children of Israel to DISCERN the TRUE meaning of WHY the Law of Moses was given to them in the first place.

But for now, let us continue with the Scriptures that have the (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) name recorded right before the word “Sabbath” so that you can see that the keeping of the weekly Sabbath DAY was a SHADOW pointing to our TRUE Sabbath REST in Jesus for holiness and righteousness.
Please read Exodus 31:13-17.
“Speak you also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily (Or TRULY Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) My Sabbaths you shall keep: for it (In the LITERAL, it reads for he) is a SIGN between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am the LORD that does SANCTIFY you. (I highlighted children of Israel in green so that you can see that the keeping of the WEEKLY Sabbath DAY was given ONLY to the children of Israel for THEM to keep throughout THEIR generations as a SIGN pointing to Messiah Jesus who shed his blood to establish Yahweh’s New PERPETUAL COVENANT which they must keep in order to be SANCTIFIED in the blood of the Lamb.
For you see, Jesus is the only NAME given among men whereby we MUST be saved.
In other words, the whole purpose of the FOURTH commandment is for the children of Israel to DISCERN that Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus is their TRUE Sabbath REST for holiness to be pleasing to Yahweh)
Exodus 31:14. You shall keep (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath, THEREFORE; for it (Or for he in the literal translation) is holy unto you: (Or more precisely, the TRUE Messiah Jesus Sabbath REST is Holiness to you) every one that defiles it (Or whosoever defiles him speaking of Messiah Jesus to receive my NAME in VAIN by keeping what Jesus FULFILLED and thus nailed to the cross) shall surely be put to death: for (Or because) whosoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. (Can you not see that such a harsh punishment of DEATH being placed on defiling a DAY of the week is a SHADOW pointing to defiling Yahweh’s TRUE Sabbath REST for Holiness, His Son?
Can you not see that Yahweh made the Son of MAN, Jesus, both Messiah and Lord of the Sabbath, as in, Lord of the true Seventh 1000-year long DAY of Yahweh’s Sabbath in the world to come?
The 1000-year long Sabbath day is the LAST 1000 year long day of God's 7,000-year plan of salvation.

God will cause ALL the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the feast days to CEASE during the Seventh 1000-year long day in the world to come)
Exodus 31:15. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, (Again, prophetically speaking of the TRUE Seventh day, the 1000-year long Sabbath rest of Yahweh in the world to come) holy TO the LORD: whosoever does any work in (Or during the true Seventh day in the world to come) the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. (And the WORK that is being prophesied here is the work of the law of commandments that Jesus ABOLISHED and nailed to the cross, according to Ephesians 2:8-15 and Colossians 2:13-17. God prophesied in Hosea 2:13 that He will cause the Sabbaths and the new moons to CEASE.
And Isaiah 1:13,14 teaches us that during the 1000-year reign of Jesus it will be INIQUITY for anyone to keep the weekly Sabbath day of rest as an obligation lest they sin.
The whole point of the ceremonial commandments is to lead the children of Israel to Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus to be saved by Yahweh’s Holiness and NOT by the works of the law that were added UNTIL Messiah Jesus came)
Exodus 31:16. WHEREFORE the children of Israel shall keep (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath, to OBSERVE (Or the very reason that you are to keep the WEEKLY Sabbath DAY as a DAY of REST is for you to OBSERVE or DISCERN the TRUE meaning of Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath (Was given to you in the first place to keep) throughout their generations, FOR a PERPETUAL COVENANT.
Exodus 31:17. It (Or he, Messiah Jesus) is a SIGN between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed.”
Can you not see that the FOURTH commandment was given to the children of Israel as a SCHOOLMASTER to lead them to Jesus as their Messiah prophesied in the Scriptures to come?
The keeping of the WEEKLY Sabbath DAY was given to the children of Israel as a SIGN pointing to RESTING in Jesus for holiness to enter into the New PERPETUAL COVENANT.
It does NOT say that the keeping of the weekly Sabbath day is for a perpetual COMMANDMENT to be kept for all eternity to rest on a DAY of the week. But rather, the carnal physical keeping of a 24-hour DAY of rest is a SHADOW pointing to Jesus as the TRUE REST in Jesus as being the SIGN of keeping the New Covenant.
Whereas the physical resting on the seventh day of the week was the sign of the children of Israel keeping the Old Covenant for them to DISCERN the true meaning of resting on the seventh day of the week.
Let us move on to the next Aleph Tav Sabbath found in the Scriptures.
Please read Leviticus 16:31-34.
“It shall be a Sabbath of rest unto you, and you shall afflict your (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) souls, by a statute for ever.
Leviticus 16:32. And the priest, (Prophetically speaking of our High Priest, Jesus) whom He shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) to minister in the priest's office in his father's stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the linen clothes, even the holy garments: (Prophetically representing the Holiness of Messiah Jesus living without spot or blemish to offer himself up to God for the atonement of sins, according to Hebrews 9:11-15.
Notice that the natural is a picture of the spiritual. In the natural, the father anointed his son to become a priest to minister in the office of his father.
And in the spiritual picture it is Yahweh who anointed Jesus to become our high priest to minister in his Father’s kingdom)
Leviticus 16:33. And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the tabernacle of the congregation, (This literally reads, he shall make atonement, a sanctuary OF Holiness for the congregation) and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.
Leviticus 16:34. And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) Moses.”
I really like the LITERAL translation of verse 33 where Yahweh makes Jesus to be our SANCTUARY of HOLINESS.
A sanctuary is a place of security where you can rest in peace from danger. And Jesus is our REST from the danger of the lake of fire as long as we REMAIN in our sanctuary of HOLINESS in Jesus.
Can you not see that it is the New Covenant that is the eternal covenant and the Old Covenant POINTS to the New PERPETUAL COVENANT established in the shed blood of Jesus?
Keep reading all the Aleph and Tav Messiah Jesus prophecies. In verse 34 we can see that Moses is a FIGURE or SHADOW pointing to Jesus.
Leviticus 23:1-3,37-44.
“And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
Leviticus 23:2. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the FEASTS of the LORD, which (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even THESE ARE My FEASTS.
Leviticus 23:3. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, (So then, the WEEKLY Sabbath DAY of rest is also called a FEAST day) an holy convocation; you shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings (Or prophetically to do no work of the law you who are in Jesus for he, Messiah Jesus, is the TRUE Sabbath rest dwelling in you.
Then in verses 4-36 are the ordinances of the YEARLY feast day Sabbaths which you can read on your own)...
...Leviticus 23:37. These are the feasts (Speaking of the YEARLY feast day Sabbaths described in verses 4-36) of the LORD, which (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
Leviticus 23:38. BESIDE the Sabbaths (Or the yearly feasts days are in addition to or BESIDE just the WEEKLY Sabbath DAYS) of the LORD, AND BESIDE your gifts, AND BESIDE all your vows, AND BESIDE all your freewill offerings, which you give unto the LORD.
Leviticus 23:39. ALSO, (Or BESIDE of ALL the above, the weekly Sabbath FEAST days, and the yearly feasts listed in verses 4-36 you shall also do) in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, (Prophetically speaking of the harvest of first fruits of the saints AT the coming of Jesus) you shall keep a (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) FEAST unto the LORD seven days: on the FIRST day shall be a Sabbath, and on the EIGHTH day shall be a Sabbath. (I find it interesting that the early church celebrated Jesus on the FIRST day of the week which they also called the EIGHTH day.
In Bible prophecy, the seventh day is the 1000-year reign of Jesus and the EIGHTH day begins the age of eternity in the new heavens and the new earth AFTER the Millennial reign of Jesus.
So, the feast of tabernacles is a SHADOW of the Holy Spirit dwelling in or tabernacling in Christians.
And the 1000-year long day of Yahweh is when God will turn a SECOND time to save the children of Israel, by FAITH in His Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus.

Leviticus 23:40. And you shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
Leviticus 23:41. And you shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: you shall celebrate it in the seventh month. (And it is the belief of many Christians that Jesus will return in the FALL of the year which is the seventh month on the Jewish calendar)
Leviticus 23:42. You shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
Leviticus 23:43. That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus 23:44. And Moses declared unto the children of Israel (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the feasts of the LORD.”
Moses is a type or figure of Jesus and AFTER the resurrection of Jesus, he expounded or EXPLAINED the Scriptures and the writings of Moses which spoke of Jesus himself as being the Messiah, the one prophesied to come.
And their eyes were opened to understand that Moses spoke of Jesus in prophecy, figures, types, and the Aleph and Tav.
So then, all of these untranslated Alephs and Tavs are like red flags saying, pay close attention because this is a prophecy of Jesus being the TRUE Sabbath REST to enter into the New PERPETUAL COVENANT.
The ceremonial commandments of all the Sabbaths are SHADOWS pointing to Jesus.
That is why Paul teaches us in Galatians 3:17-25 that the “law” is a SCHOOLMASTER to lead the children of Israel to Jesus.
And after FAITH in Jesus comes to a Jew then they are no longer UNDER the law, as in, they are no longer obligated to keep the ceremonial commandments lest they sin.
In Romans 7:6, Paul says that they are DELIVERED FROM the law to serve God in NEWNESS of SPIRIT and NOT in the OLDNESS of the LETTER of the law.
Now, this does NOT mean that we are delivered from the MORAL commandments of God.
Paul makes it very clear that we must obey all of the moral commandments of God in Romans 7:7.
And thus, all through the New Testament all of the moral laws are repeated several times.
In fact, NINE of the TEN Commandments are specifically repeated and clearly taught in the New Testament under the New Covenant.
And the ONLY commandment that is NOT repeated and NOT taught in the New Testament under the New Covenant is RESTING for 24 hours on the Seventh DAY of the WEEK.

But for now, let us continue reading the Aleph and the Tav in connection with the Sabbath Days.
Deuteronomy 5:1-4,11-15.
“And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the statutes and (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) judgments which I speak in your ears THIS DAY, that you may LEARN (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) them, and keep, and do them. (Not only did the children LEARN the TEN Commandments and the ORDINANCES written by the hand of Moses in the book of the Law of God for the first time, they were ALSO to LEARN or to DISCERN the TRUE meaning of why the TEN Commandments and the rest of the Law of Moses was given to them in the first place)
Deuteronomy 5:2. The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
Deuteronomy 5:3. The LORD made NOT (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive THIS DAY.
Deuteronomy 5:4. The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,...
Deuteronomy 5:11. You shall not take (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the NAME of the LORD your God in VAIN: for the LORD will not hold (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) him (Or Yahweh will not hold a true born-again Christian) guiltless that takes (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) his name in vain.
Deuteronomy 5:12. Keep (Or observe and DISCERN) (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath day to sanctify it, (To DISCERN its true meaning so that you will sanctify him, Messiah Jesus, the NAME of Me) as the LORD your God has commanded you.
Deuteronomy 5:13. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work:
Deuteronomy 5:14. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God: (Again, the resting on the seventh day of the WEEK is a SHADOW pointing to the TRUE Seventh 1000-year long Sabbath of Yahweh in the world to come, And) in it (Prophetically speaking of the TRUE Seventh DAY of Yahweh in the world to come that is 1000 years long) you shall not do any work, (Speaking of the works of the law contained in ORDINANCE that Jesus FULFILLED and thus ABOLISHED and nailed to the cross, according to Ephesians 2:8-15 and Colossians 2:3-17) you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates; that your manservant and your maidservant may rest as well as you.
Deuteronomy 5:15. And remember that you were a servant (Or a SLAVE) in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD your God brought you out of there through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: THEREFORE, (Or for this very reason that I want you to remember is that I delivered you out of bondage, and that is WHY I gave the FOURTH commandment to you in the first place) the LORD your God commanded you to keep (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath day.”
The keeping of the weekly Sabbath day is a “schoolmaster” to lead the children of Israel to REST in Jesus for their holiness. The Gentiles were never under the Law of Moses.
Please read Isaiah 56:1-6.
“Thus says the LORD, Keep you judgment, (Or thus say Yahweh, you are to keep my VERDICT. A verdict or judgment is a final decision and God CHOSE that salvation be in His human Son, Jesus before the foundation of the world, according to Ephesians 1:4) and do justice: for (Or because) My SALVATION is near to COME, and My RIGHTEOUSNESS to be REVEALED.
Isaiah 56:2. Blessed is the man that does THIS, and the son of man that lays hold on it; that keeps the Sabbath from polluting it, (The LITERAL translation reads from polluting him) AND keeps his hand from doing any evil.
Isaiah 56:3. Neither let the son of the stranger, that has joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD has utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
Isaiah 56:4. For thus says the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) My Sabbaths, (Speaking prophetically of RESTING in Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus to enter into Yahweh’s New Covenant to have the RIGHT to eat of the tree of eternal life on the TRUE Seventh 1000-year long day of Yahweh’s Sabbath rest in the world to come) and choose the things that please me, and take hold of My COVENANT; (And the things that please Yahweh is to FIRST rest in Jesus for our holiness and righteousness and to CEASE from the works of the LAW of commandments contained in ORDINANCES that Jesus FULFILLED and thus abolished and nailed to the cross.
In other words, it DISPLEASES Yahweh for Christians to keep the ceremonial commandments out of OBLIGATION for fear that they would be sinning if they did not rest for 24 hours on the Sabbaths of Yahweh.
For you see, it is prophesied in Hosea 2:11 and in Isaiah 1:13,14 that Yahweh will cause the Sabbaths to CEASE during the 1000-year reign of Jesus so that the children of Israel will learn their TRUE spiritual meaning of why the Sabbaths were given in the first place as a SCHOOLMASTER to lead them to Jesus)
Isaiah 56:5. Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
Isaiah 56:6. Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the NAME of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keeps the Sabbath (Again, prophetically speaking of the TRUE 1000 year long Sabbath of Yahweh’s rest in the world to come by RESTING in the NAME of Yahweh which is Jesus, the only NAME given among men whereby we MUST be saved) from polluting it, (Again, the LITERAL translation reads from polluting him, speaking of Messiah Jesus) and takes hold of My COVENANT;”
Again, prophetically speaking of Yahweh’s New PERPETUAL COVENANT established in the shed blood of Jesus.
The next passage of Scripture is used by all seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians to try and prove that the WEEKLY Sabbath day will be kept DURING the 1000-year reign of Jesus.
And, therefore, to THEM, Christians must keep the weekly Sabbath day during this present world.
But in TRUTH, Isaiah 58:13 is actually teaching the children of Israel to CEASE from keeping the WEEKLY Sabbath in order to keep the TRUE Sabbath REST in Jesus for holiness.

But for now, I will simply point out a few things in the CONTEXT.
Isaiah 58:12-14.
“And they that shall be of you shall build the old waste places: you shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. (The fulfillment of this prophecy will begin right after the wrath of God is poured out upon the children of Israel leaving only a REMNANT of Israel left alive to enter into the Millennial reign of Jesus in their MORTAL bodies to be taught of the Lord.
And the remnant of Israel will be called the repairer of the BREACH if they CEASE from doing the works of the law under the OLD Covenant.
I will prove this truth to you from the context in a moment, but for now, please read the next two verses as meaning to turn away from keeping the weekly Sabbath day as a 24 hour DAY to REST in Yahweh’s New Covenant.
In other words, the children of Israel will be called the repairer of the breach)
Isaiah 58:13. IF you turn away your foot FROM the Sabbath, from doing you pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shall honor him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words:
Isaiah 58:14. THEN shall you delight yourself in the LORD; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.”
Now, the CONTEXT of verses 13,14 teaches us in Isaiah 58:1,2 that the children of Israel are sinning or transgressing against Yahweh but yet they are KEEPING all the ordinances under the Old Covenant.
In other words, the remnant of Israel will be faithfully keeping the weekly Sabbath day as well as ALL of the other ordinances of Yahweh written in the Law of Moses under the Old Covenant.
But THAT is NOT what Yahweh desires them to do.
The very reason that the Jews will suffer the WRATH of God is that they are rejecting God’s New Covenant to REST in Jesus for holiness and righteousness.
And Yahweh is FULL of their keeping the Law of Moses which was added only until Jesus came as a SCHOOLMASTER to lead the Jews to Jesus.
Please read Isaiah 58:1,2.
“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and SHOW My people their TRANSGRESSION, and the house of Jacob their SINS.
Isaiah 58:2. Yet they seek Me DAILY, and DELIGHT to know My ways, as a nation that did RIGHTEOUSNESS, and forsook NOT the ordinance of their God: they ask of Me the ordinances of justice; they take DELIGHT in approaching to God.”
So then, the TRANSGRESSION of Israel is their KEEPING the Law of Moses and NOT DISCERNING that the Law of Moses is a SCHOOLMASTER to lead them to Messiah Jesus and the New PERPETUAL COVENANT established in the shed blood of Jesus.
The SINS of the house of Jacob is their seeking to justify themselves. And to Yahweh in His eyes, for Israel to reject His New Covenant and justify themselves by keeping the Law of Moses, is as if they were eating swine’s flesh to justify themselves.
Please read Isaiah 66:3,4,15-18.
“He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offers an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations. (In other words, the children of Israel chose to continue under the Old Covenant and NOT accept God’s New PERPETUAL COVENANT established in the shed blood of Jesus.
And even though they KEEP all the Law of Moses they are SINNING against Yahweh and PROVOKING Jesus.
This is a prophecy of the children of Israel AFTER the cross provoking Jesus by them trying to keep both the Old Covenant and the New Covenant at the same time.
So, the Jews were and still are in the PRESENT tense provoking Jesus by NOT keeping just the New Covenant only.
And so are the seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping Christians PROVOKING Jesus by their trying to keep BOTH covenants.
They are perverting the TRUE gospel of Jesus Christ by wrongly teaching that Christians must rest on the seventh day of the week lest they sin.
We all know that it would be wrong to offer animal sacrifices for the forgiveness of sins because Jesus FULFILLED that ceremonial law of commandment of sacrifice contained in ordinances.
And to keep what Jesus FULFILLED and abolished at the cross is transgressing God's New PERPETUAL COVENANT established with the great price of the shed blood of Jesus.
And it is equally wrong to keep the dietary laws, the yearly feast days, the new moons festivals, and the WEEKLY Sabbath day which are all SHADOWS pointing to Jesus that he fulfilled and nailed to the cross)
Isaiah 66:4. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, (The word evil in the Bible also means to do things opposite of what God says to do.
So then, even doing good things can be evil in the eyes of God when God no longer desires those things to be done because they were only added UNTIL the Messiah came)
and chose that in which I delighted NOT…
Isaiah 66:15. For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Isaiah 66:16. For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Isaiah 66:17. They that SANCTIFY THEMSELVES, and PURIFY THEMSELVES in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, (Shall be as if) eating swine's flesh, and (as if) the abomination, and (as if they ate) the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the LORD.
Isaiah 66:18. For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.”
The CONTEXT is about the WRATH of God being poured out on the children of Israel who ARE KEEPING the ORDINANCES of Yahweh under the OLD Covenant.
It is the children of Israel who choose to reject Yahweh’s New Covenant and continue to try and SANCTIFY themselves by the keeping all of the ORDINANCES written in the Law of Moses.
And we all know that the children of Israel will NOT literally be eating swine's flesh to purify and sanctify themselves. So then, the true sound biblical meaning of Isaiah 66:17 is that the children of Israel will choose to obey the Old Covenant to sanctify and purify THEMSELVES.
And to Yahweh, their REJECTING His New perpetual covenant to purify themselves by their keeping the ORDINANCES that Jesus FULFILLED will be as if they were eating swine's flesh under the Old Covenant.
Now, we know that this is the CORRECT interpretation of verse 17 because God has CLEANSED all manners of meat and NOTHING is to be refused under the New Covenant written in the New Testament, according to Acts 10:15, Romans 14:2,14,20, Titus 1:13-16.
In fact, for any Christian to teach other Christians to ABSTAIN from eating meat as an OBLIGATION lest they displease God is called a doctrine of DEVILS, according to 1 Timothy 4:1-6.
And almost EVERY seventh day of the week Sabbath-keeping church denomination teaches their followers to abstain from eating pork which is called unclean meat in the Old Testament and especially under the Old Covenant.

“Now the Spirit speaks expressly, (Or thus says the Lord Yahweh) that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of DEVILS;
1 Timothy 4:2. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1 Timothy 4:3. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the TRUTH.
1 Timothy 4:4. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1 Timothy 4:5. For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
1 Timothy 4:6. If you put the brethren in remembrance of these things, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, where unto you have attained.”
So then, if your Sabbath-keeping church denomination teaches you that in order to be pleasing to God then you must NOT eat any meat that is called unclean in the Old Testament Scriptures then please know and understand that they are teaching you doctrines of DEVILS.
Let us move on to another Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus passage of Scripture.
Please read Jeremiah 17:20-27.
“And say unto them, Hear you the word of the LORD, (Or UNDERSTAND you the word of Yahweh) you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates: (Prophetically speaking of entering into the world to come)
Jeremiah 17:21. Thus says the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem; (Again, the not bearing any burdens on the WEEKLY Sabbath day is a SHADOW of the TRUE 1000-year long Seventh day of Yahweh’s Sabbath rest in the world to come to NOT bear any burden of the Law of Moses contained in ordinances that Jesus FULFILLED at the cross)
Jeremiah 17:22. Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day, neither do you any work, but hallow you the Sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.
Jeremiah 17:23. But they obeyed NOT, neither inclined (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) their ear, but made (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction. (The children of Israel as a nation will have nothing to do with the New Testament or with Jesus as being their Messiah.
And SOME of the Jews that do accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior still continue to keep some of the Law of Moses such as the feast days, the weekly Sabbath days and the dietary laws.
And thus, they are not TRULY resting in Jesus and the New Covenant for their holiness and righteousness.
They feel that they must keep BOTH covenants as best as they can. But that is DISPLEASING to Yahweh rather than pleasing Yahweh and His Son, Jesus)
Jeremiah 17:24. And it shall come to pass, if you diligently hearken unto me, says the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but hallow (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath day, to do no work therein;
Jeremiah 17:25. THEN shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever. (In other words, the children of Israel will SEEK God with all their heart during the WRATH of God but NONE of the RIGHTEOUS works will SANCTIFY themselves.
The children of Israel will be keeping ALL the ORDINANCES to be pleasing to God but God will NOT hear their prayers. But WHEN they repent and hallow Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus THEN they will be a delight in the eyes of Yahweh)
Jeremiah 17:26. And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.
Jeremiah 17:27. But if you will NOT hearken unto me to hallow (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the Sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.”
The Law of Moses is called a BURDEN many times in the New Testament.
And even the very Apostles of Jesus teach us in Acts 15:10 that the Law of Moses is a burden that neither the Apostles of Jesus nor their fathers before them could bear.
The whole PURPOSE of the Law of Moses is a SCHOOLMASTER to lead them to Jesus.
And then after a Jew BELIEVES they are no longer under the Law of Moses.
Here are some more (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) hidden prophecies of the TRUE Sabbath rest in Jesus to have the right to enter into the TRUE Seventh 1000-year long day of Yahweh’s Sabbath rest in the world to come.
Read the natural ritual ceremonial commandments as SHADOWS or prophecies of the future.
The keeping of the weekly Sabbath day of rest is a SIGN pointing to the TRUE rest in Jesus for holiness to enter into Yahweh’s New Covenant to be SANCTIFIED by Yahweh in His WAY under the New Covenant.
Leviticus 19:30.
“You shall keep (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) My Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.”
Leviticus 26:2.
“You shall keep (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) My Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.”
Ezekiel 20:1-4,11-13,19-21.
“And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to inquire (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) of the LORD, and sat before me.
Ezekiel 20:2. Then came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,
Ezekiel 20:3. Son of man, speak (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; Are you come to inquire of me? As I live, says the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by you.
Ezekiel 20:4. Will you judge them, son of man, will you judge them? Cause them to KNOW (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) the abominations of their fathers: (Or explain the Scriptures to the children of Israel and how their father’s crucified their Messiah and refused My New Covenant for 2000 years)...
Ezekiel 20:11. And I gave them (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) My statutes, and showed them My judgments, which if a man do (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus), he shall even live in them.
Ezekiel 20:12. Moreover, also I gave them (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) My Sabbaths, to be a SIGN between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that SANCTIFY them.
Ezekiel 20:13. But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness: they walked not in My statutes, and they despised My judgments, which if a man do, (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) he shall even live in them; and My Sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them...
Ezekiel 20:19. I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;
Ezekiel 20:20. And hallow My Sabbaths; and they shall be a SIGN between me and you, that you may KNOW that I am the LORD your God.
Ezekiel 20:21. Notwithstanding the children rebelled against Me: they walked not in My statutes, neither kept My judgments to do them, which if a man do, (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) he shall even live in them; they polluted (Aleph Tav Messiah Jesus) My Sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.”
Again, the Law of Moses was added UNTIL Jesus came. The laws of commandments contained in ORDINANCES were ABOLISHED and nailed to the cross by Jesus FULFILLING those SHADOWS pointing to him.
And Yahweh is no longer pleased by the children of Israel and Christians who KEEP the ORDINANCES contained in the Law of Moses that Jesus ABOLISHED and nailed to the cross.
According to Isaiah 1:13,14, God HATES the Sabbaths that He gave to Israel because they have not discerned the PURPOSE of why He gave them the Sabbaths.
God gave the Sabbaths as a SHADOW pointing to Jesus.
And in Hosea 2:11, Yahweh prophesied that He will cause the Sabbaths, the feast days, and the new moons to CEASE.
Hosea 2:11.
“I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.”
