Prerequisite Requirements

To qualify for this class you must have completed Math Secondary 1, 2, and 3 with C grades or better.

Math 1010 Year vs. Math 1010 Semester

This course is identical to Math 1010 Semester. We use the same book, have the same homework, and teach the same concepts. We just have twice as long to cover the same material. It is a good option for students who don't need to take Calculus, but want college credit and for students who earned C grades in Secondary 1, 2, and 3.

Course Description

We cover linear and quadratic functions and inequalities, polynomial expressions, rational, radical, exponential, absolute value, and logarithmic functions, complex numbers, systems of linear and nonlinear equations, and conic sections.

Concurrent Enrollment

With a passing grade, you will earn 4 college credit hours and fulfill graduation requirements for about 11 majors at UVU (see list of majors below).
