Your Lexia has reset because it is a new week. Remember if you meet your goal for the week, then you earn $5 in classroom money for Market Day at the end of the year. Work on your Lexia goal (spread out your units to ensure you finish your prescribed units by the end of the week--this should not take more than 15 minutes a day). If you have N/A as your prescribed units this is because you are above grade level. Your goal should still be to get at least 4 units done a week.
Read over the play you are in. Your play was attached to an email sent last Friday. For sure read your parts. If you can have other people in your family read the other parts that would be great. Look at the google meet schedule so you know when your group is meeting to practice your play. I put the schedule at the top of the google site. If that doesn't work for you, arrange something else with Mrs. Harward.
Read for 20 minutes (Reading choices: a book that is "just right" for you, https://www.worldbookonline.com/kids/home, e-book, etc.).-- You can count reading your play.
We are starting a new unit: telling time! Do the Nearpod activity to the right. Don't stress, just show me what you know. You will be doing a hard problem so I can see what you know and what I need to teach you. Don't get help from anyone because then I will think you already know it all.
Decide what fairytale or folktale you want to retell. We have heard a lot of examples in the google meet read alouds. Here are some possibilities: Cinderella, Rumplestiltskin, Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Little Mermaid, etc. If you aren't sure if something is a fairytale or folktale let me know. Fill out the google form to the right so I know what you decided. We will start the storyboard tomorrow.

Continue practicing your lines for your play and remember your google meet practice schedule or whatever you set up with Mrs. Harward as an alternative.

Do the nearpod to the right of this list. You will be learning more about the clock. Try and do it all by yourself so I can see what you know and what I still need to teach you.
Listen to Mrs. T's read aloud. The link is to the right of this list.
Do something from the Computer Specialty Choices. The link is at the very top of the google site. There are 2 links: one is a slideshow with the expectations and the other is the choices. (Expectation: 2 activites a week)
Fill in the characters and setting box on the storyboard for your fairytale/folktale. This will be attached in your morning email. Draw quick pictures and use Tarzan talk if needed to plan out this part of your story. Make sure you make little changes, but that the reader will still recognize what story it sounds like. For example: the 3 pigs should still have 3 characters who are building 3 different homes and one should be a weak home, a medium home and a strong home.

If you have N/A as your prescribed units this is because you are above grade level. Your goal should still be to get at least 4 units done a week. I am thinking about what to do for Market Day since we will be doing online learning the rest of the school year so I will still keep track of money we are earning.

Practice what you have learned so far about telling time. Choose from these math pages: p. 171, 173 and the clock part of 180. You don't need to show these to me unless you want feedback.
Choose a Computers activity if you would like from the link at the top of the google site. You only need to do Computers 2 days a week. There will be new choices starting today.
Fill in the try/fails for your fairytale/folktale. If there are more than 2 try/fails then you can split the resolution box and use some of that space. If you need help with this I am happy to conference with you.
Fill in the Market Day form to the right of this list so I can start preparing for Market Day.

Read for 20 minutes (Reading choices: a book that is "just right" for you, https://www.worldbookonline.com/kids/home, e-book, etc.).
Do more practice pages from your math book if you didn't do them all yesterday. If you picked up your stuff from Deerfield last week then you also have your big fat math book. There are lots of great pages in there that are similar to the pages I assigned yesterday. Choose what you would like (don't do pages on AM and PM or fancy ways of saying the time like quarter past). I will be teaching these next week. If you need help finding good pages let me know.
Make sure you do 2 computer activities this week.
Fill in the Resolution box on your fairytale/folktale storyboard. Your storyboard should now be complete so that next week you can start turning your pictures and tarzan talk into complete sentences. Let me know if you would like me to look it over or help you with your storyboard.
