You may create your endangered animal out of trash or other craft supplies to show the negative effect people have on the world. If you do, take a picture of it and send it to Mrs. Harward or attach it to your google doc writing. Next week you will get to see everyone's work as a virtual museum.
Next week we will be learning about the butterfly lifecycle. Normally I get caterpillars for the whole class and we observe them go through each step of the life cycle. Sadly, since we are doing online learning I can't do this, but here is the website in case you would like to order your own. Let me know if you have any questions. https://www.insectlore.com/
Students have been working on personal studies of their choice in Track Time. Ask your student what they have done. See if they want to start another study or continue one they were in the middle of.
Challenge Activity: Create a rock collection (this could be with images on the computer or actual rocks you find)
Find different kinds of rocks
Decide how you want to sort them: 3 types, color, texture, particle size, etc. (sorting by igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic would be the hardest, but a fun challenge)
Sort the rocks and label them in some way.
Send a picture of your rock collection to Ms. Harward.
