Your Lexia has reset because it is a new week. Remember if you meet your goal for the week, then you earn $5 in classroom money for Market Day at the end of the year. Work on your Lexia goal (spread out your units to ensure you finish your prescribed units by the end of the week--this should not take more than 15 minutes a day). If you have N/A as your prescribed units this is because you are above grade level. Your goal should still be to get at least 4 units done a week.
Do pages 3-5 on the Wonders documents that I have attached to your daily email today. You can do more if you want, but I would for sure like you to read the recycling story and keep track of your fluency with it and answer the questions about it. You don't have to report this to me unless you want feedback. I would love to know your words per minute and accuracy though.
Read for 20 minutes (Reading choices: a book that is "just right" for you, https://www.worldbookonline.com/kids/home, e-book, etc.).--You can include the time it took you to read the book for your notes in item 2 on your to-do list. You can count the recycling story as part of your reading minutes.

Phonics Pattern: The "au and aw" phonics pattern. Watch the mini lesson on this phonics pattern. Find words in books that have a "au and aw" pattern. Sort them into 2 columns based on their spelling. Here are some words to get you started: paw, sauce, claw, straw, taught, naughty, launch and awful. Look at where the au and aw land in words. Do you see any patterns? Are there any oddballs? Can you explain the oddballs? Think about what we learned about ou and ow--they have something in common. The video is to the right of this list.

Continue working on your nonfiction paragraph rough draft on your endangered animal research. To the right is a video about where to type this paragraph and how to do it if you need a reminder. You should have all your research in last Friday's email to your parents so you can use that to help you turn it into a paragraph. That email also has the rubric so you will know how you will be graded. Don't write about why it is endangered or how you would solve the problem yet. That will be the second paragraph and you will get more instructions on that later. If you are done writing your rough draft and it is ready for revisions and editing or for her to print the published piece then let Ms. Harward know so she can check it. If Ms. Harward made comments, fix those things so it is ready to be printed for publishing.

Choose from these math pages to review what you have learned in measurement the last 2 weeks: 205, 207, 209, 213, 215, 219 and 220. If you don't have your math book, let me know what pages you would like me to text you in a picture. Next week is Spring Break so there won't be any required assignments. After the break we will start a new unit: Data.
Do your second Art activity if you haven't yet.
Do the Rocks and Erosion Nearpod activity to the right of this list. This is a practice test. We will take the final test when we return to Deerfield. Let me know if something was hard so I can help prepare you for the final test.
Over spring break...it is always a good idea to keep reading, but there will be no assignments to turn in that week. Relax and enjoy some down time.
