Week 1
Math: Money
Do the math assignment using Nearpod. Type in code LYWUX and go through each slide. Mrs. Lee wants to know where you are at with your ability to identify, add, and count money.
Note: If you are having trouble drawing your work, you can do it on scratch paper, take a picture and send it to Ms. Harward through email or text.

2. Work on your Lexia goal (spread out your units to ensure you finish your prescribed units by the end of the week--this should not take more than 15 minutes a day). If you have N/A as your prescribed units this is because you are above grade level. Your goal should still be to get at least 4 units done a week.
3. Read for 20 minutes (Reading choices: a book that is "just right" for you, https://www.worldbookonline.com/kids/home, e-book, etc.).
4. Practice your money skills before you take the test on Nearpod at the end of the week, you can choose some pages in your skinny math book. Your skinny math book should be in your backpack. Here are some good pages you could choose from: 157, 159, 161. Today or tomorrow fill out the Google Form in the weekly tasks called Money Check In so I know how you are doing

Read a fiction picture book of your choice. You could also use the read aloud Mrs. T shared with you. You can find it if you click on the 2 buttons labeled Library in weekly tasks. One introduces the book and the other takes you to someone reading it aloud. Take notes (Use "Tarzan Talk") on scratch paper with the different parts of the story; Characters, Setting, Problem, Try/Fails and Resolution. Fill out the form called Summary to practice writing a summary. When taking notes on scratch paper, you may use Tarzan Talk, but turn them into complete sentences when writing on the form.
Read for 20 minutes (Reading choices: a book that is "just right" for you, https://www.worldbookonline.com/kids/home, e-book, etc.).--You can include the time it took you to read the book for your summary.
Make sure you have taken the Nearpod test. The results will be sent to your teacher and student teacher. We will use this to help us know who still needs help on this topic.
Things to complete today if you haven't done them yet (these are all found above in things to do this week--after today they will all be at the bottom of the site): Endangered animal research and fill out form with notes, Nearpod math test, fill out form with summary of a book you read this week, and the money check in survey.
