Your Lexia has reset because it is a new week. Remember if you meet your goal for the week, then you earn $5 in classroom money for Market Day at the end of the year. Work on your Lexia goal (spread out your units to ensure you finish your prescribed units by the end of the week--this should not take more than 15 minutes a day). If you have N/A as your prescribed units this is because you are above grade level. Your goal should still be to get at least 4 units done a week.
Do pages 3-5 on the Wonders documents that I have attached to your daily email today. You can do more if you want, but I would for sure like you to read "The Contest of Athens" text and keep track of your fluency with it and answer the questions about it. You don't have to report this to me unless you want feedback. I would love to know your words per minute and accuracy though.
Read for 20 minutes (Reading choices: a book that is "just right" for you, https://www.worldbookonline.com/kids/home, e-book, etc.).-- You can count the reading from the text from step 2 as part of your reading minutes.
Watch the video to the right of this list called Graph Types. In this video I go over the line plot, bar graph and our last graph type called the picture graph/pictograph. After watching the video you may choose from these math pages in your skinny math book to practice picture graphs: p. 225, 227 and 235-236 (this is a chapter review so it will review bar graphs and picture graphs). You don't need to show these to me unless you want feedback.
Do the "Reading Maps" Nearpod to the right of this list if you didn't do it on Friday last week.
*Reminder: Opinion Endangered Animal paragraph is due Friday. (See details from last Friday in Week 4 tab)

Phonics Pattern: "closed and open" syllables. Watch the mini lesson on this phonics pattern. The video is to the right of this list. I will attach the worksheets to practice this phonics pattern today and you can spread them out over today and tomorrow. You choose how much to do. You don't have to show these to me unless you want feedback.

Choose a Computers activity if you would like from the link at the top of the google site. You only need to do Computers 2 days a week. The Computer choices have been updated to give you different choices.

If you have N/A as your prescribed units this is because you are above grade level. Your goal should still be to get at least 4 units done a week. I am thinking about what to do for Market Day since we will be doing online learning the rest of the school year so I will still keep track of money we are earning.
Do the "What is a Compass Rose?" nearpod to the right of this list.
Read for 20 minutes (Reading choices: a book that is "just right" for you, https://www.worldbookonline.com/kids/home, e-book, etc.).
Come up with your own survey question that you would like to ask your friends and family. You can call, email, text the question and choices to each person. Collect the data by creating a tally chart as you get results from each person. Then turn the tally chart into a picture graph or bar graph. If you collected number data then you could also choose to do a line plot. Some examples could be: What's your favorite color, food, quarantine activity, sport, etc. Make sure you give 4 choices (choose these carefully--think about who you are asking and what would interest them). I would love to be included in your survey! Send it to me so I can take it. Also, take a picture of your tally chart and graph and send it to me if you can. I would love to see it. This is due Friday so you have 2 days to complete it. Go back to week 4 and watch review videos on these graphs if you can't remember how to make them.
