These are exercises to practice writing. They are mostly free writing - you just write what you want about the topic for as long as you can without worrying about spelling or grammar. The idea is to get your ideas flowing.

This a writing textbook you can read online. There is a lot of information to read.

After you read about the concept, you can read a practical application -- how is this used in real life writing. After the Practical Application there is an example and questions to answer about the answer. Answer the question in your head or on paper and then click to to see if you got it correct. Metacognitive Questions are deeper questions about how well you understand the concept and how you will apply it.
