MAKE THE MOST OF THE ALUMNI NETWORK

JOIN YOUR PROGRAM GROUP

Check out the >INSERT PROGRAM GROUP NAME AND LINK TO RELEVANT ALUMNI NETWORK GROUP< where you’ll find other volunteers preparing to join us at the same time as you. This is also a great opportunity to get to know people who have already volunteered. Introduce yourself and seek any first hand advice or guidance about life on base or work on site to help prepare you for your trip.

DIRECTORY

If this isn’t your first time volunteering with us, maybe you’d like to catch up with friends you’ve made on previous programs. Head over to the Directory and set your search preferences to find users who have volunteered on specific programs or introduce yourself to members of our community who live nearby.

SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE

Once you’re on program we’d love to know how you’re enjoying it. Tell other Alumni Network members what you think of the program so far. Show us your new home and the great work happening on site by posting photos/videos in the main feed or in your program group.

AFTER PROGRAM SUPPORT

Being part of the All Hands and Hearts community starts long before setting foot on one of our bases and can last a lifetime. We’d love you to stay connected, learn how to leverage your new volunteer skills and keep us updated with how you’re continuing to be of service.

STAY CONNECTED AND UPDATED

By staying part of our community as an Alumni Network member you’ll receive:

  • Fortnightly newsletters to keep you informed about the impact you’ve helped make possible

  • Service-oriented job opportunities to turn your field experience into a career in disaster relief, with us or other NGOs

  • Professional development support via our resources area, including guidance on building a career in the humanitarian sector as well as general career advancement strategies

  • Invites to meetups and alumni events happening near you via the Events Board

  • Opportunities to be part of, or tune into, our alumni webinar series where we feature members of our community sharing how they’ve progressed after volunteering
