🖊️✏️Explore the Library Self-Assessment Report prepared by the school librarian, highlighting student engagement, inquiry, and learning impact. 🖊️✏️
🖊️✏️This report outlines the structured and purposeful role of the Al Farouk International School Library in supporting student learning and engagement during the first term of the 2025–2026 academic year. Through carefully planned, age-appropriate library sessions, students from PYP 1 to PYP 6 were actively engaged in literacy development, inquiry, creativity, and research skills. In the early years, book-centered activities fostered curiosity, imagination, and foundational literacy, while upper grades progressively developed independent reading habits, research skills, critical thinking, and reflection. The library served as a dynamic learning space that reinforced IB PYP principles by promoting student agency, inquiry-based learning, and meaningful connections across disciplines.
