Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is purposefully embedded within the Units of Inquiry to enhance learning and support student engagement. Through integrated learning experiences, students develop research skills by designing surveys, creating presentations, and generating images to support their inquiries. These digital tools enable students to research, create, collaborate, and communicate their understanding, deepening conceptual learning while building essential digital and inquiry skills.

PYP 5 – How the World Works – Collaborative Presentations
PYP 5 students worked collaboratively to create shared presentations related to their How the World Works unit. They explored presentation templates using Slidesgo and worked together in Google Slides to edit, design, and develop their ideas on the same slides. Through this process, students developed research, communication, collaboration, and ICT skills, while learning how to work responsibly and effectively in a shared digital space.

PYP 6 – Arabic Language – How the World Works
PYP 6 – Arabic Language – How the World Works
PYP 6 students created digital flipped stories in Arabic as part of their How the World Works unit, focusing on protecting animals from extinction. Students used AI-supported tools such as Nanobanan to generate images, ChatGPT to support idea development and vocabulary, speech-to-text applications to express their ideas orally, and Book Creator to design and publish their flipped digital stories.
Through this learning experience, students developed creativity, communication, research, and thinking skills, while learning to use AI and digital tools responsibly to support their learning and understanding of real-world issues.

PYP – Typing Skills Competition
Students across the PYP participated in a typing competition designed to develop accurate and efficient keyboarding skills. Through regular practice and friendly competition, students improved their self-management, communication, and ICT skills, while building confidence in using digital tools to support their learning across subjects.
The competition also encouraged responsible use of devices, perseverance, and reflection on personal progress.
