International-mindedness at our school is grounded in our educational philosophy and intentionally developed through inquiry-based learning. Rooted in our shared beliefs and values (Standard A), we view learners as globally connected individuals who learn best when they explore the world through multiple perspectives. This commitment was translated into practice by intentionally embedding international-mindedness within inquiry sessions (Standard B), where students began exploring local and global issues, engaging in dialogue, asking questions about similarities and differences, and developing empathy through real-world contexts and collaborative learning experiences. Over time, these inquiry experiences extended beyond the classroom and became visible in the culture of our learning community (Standard C), as students, teachers, and families engaged in inclusive practices, meaningful conversations, and student-initiated actions that reflect respect, responsibility, and an understanding of our shared humanity.Â
