Material Testing

Our laboratory is nationally accredited. Our material testing emphasis is geared towards geotechnical index testing and stabilizing subgrades for ground improvement. We are a full-service lab which is approved by the State of New Mexico to test concrete, aggregates & subgrade materials. We offer engineers and technicians to document minimum testing requirements and support agency oversight during transportation earthworks operations. We offer qualified technicians that are adept at conducting material testing per TTCP, ACI, AASHTO, and ASTM certified methods for quality assurance (QA) and independent assurance (IA) testing roles.

AASHTO Accredited Status

YeDoma is in the second year of accreditation and our credentials are also listed in the directory at www.aashtoresource.org. We maintain yearly subscriptions with AASHTO and ASTM specification books, and provide in-house training, examinations, and proficiency tests as part of our quality management system. If deviations from specifications occur, our policy is to note the deviation in our technical reports with an appropriate level of commentary. Our services are under a continual improvement status.

Hveem Equipment R-Value Testing

This piece of equipment is used for testing both treated and untreated laboratory compacted soils or aggregates with the stabilometer and expansion pressure devices to obtain results indicative of performance when placed in the base, subbase, or subgrade of a road subjected to traffic.

Concrete Testing

Our concrete testing capabilities allow us to perform field sample testing, casting and laboratory compressive strength testing. Two concrete lime tanks allow for concrete cylinders to cure under controlled laboratory specifications prior to performing compressive strength testing.
