UNM Taos Klauer Campus Water Storage Tank Project
Geophysical methods such as seismic refraction and corrosivity were conducted in the field to determine depth to bedrock and corrosive potential of the soil. Geotechnical investigations were performed using continuous probing and sampling using dynamic probing techniques (borehole) and bulk sampling along the extent of the site. A total of three locations were investigated recorded to provide a detailed analysis and evaluation for the construction recommendations for the future water storage tank for the UNM Taos Klauer Campus. Samples were evaluated for index properties and bearing capacity factors to be used in the recommendations for the foundation design for the storage tank.
