The INC grade (Incomplete) is given to a student who: 1) missed submitting one major requirement for the subject (ex. final exam or project; for laboratory classes, three experiments); 2) failed to take the final examinations, regardless of satisfactory class standing due to reasons beyond his/her control and must be certified by the Registrar; or 3) did not complete the required number of laboratory experiments/workshop exercises (the number of unperformed experiments or exercises should not exceed three).
The INC grade shall apply to themes, reports, and other requirements in any related subject.
Removal of the INC mark must be done within the prescribed time by passing an examination or meeting all the requirements for the course, after which the student shall be given a final grade based on overall performance.
NOTE: INCOMPLETE GRADES MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN SIX MONTHS/ONE SEMESTER. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL MEAN THE GRADE/S SHALL BE 5.00 (FAILED) AND THE STUDENT WILL NEED TO RETAKE THE SUBJECT/S.
