I'm delighted to welcome you to the AISCT counseling website! As an international school graduate myself, I feel well-equipped to guide students through the various ups and downs of upper school life. Whether students need to sit quietly in a room for a minute, could use a thinking partner to solve an issue, are going through something challenging or want to discuss their academic path, counselors are here to listen and to support. AISCT believes that learning to reach out for support when in need is a valuable skill to attain and we always aim to help students develop resilience and come up with solutions that work for them. In addition, students take part in regular Social Emotional Curriculum to aid their social/emotional development.

In supporting students and parents, I will never tell a student what to do, but will provide a safe and confidential space in which to support them in finding their own solutions to whatever challenges arise. Both students and parents can email me any time to make an appointment, or drop by my office- it is situated right next to the high school court yard.

Welcome to the wonderful world of University Counseling! I know what an overwhelming time this can be for families, as students chooses future career paths and universities. My goal is to create actionable timelines to guide our students and keep them on track so that the process can be a fulfilling journey of self-discovery and possibilities. Advanced planning and preparation will lead to the best outcomes for our students, and give them the best options for their future.
As a school, we use Maialearning, a platform that helps students by providing personalized resources for education and career planning. Each student has a free account which offers comprehensive support for career exploration, enrichment experiences, college applications, resume building, financial aid guidance, and academic planning tools, tailored to each student's needs. I would encourage students and families to take full advantage of this resource throughout their high school journey.
My door is always open to students and parents, whether you need counsel about what high school courses to choose, career guidance, or help creating a university list. I look forward to guiding students and families through this exciting time by providing the necessary resources and expertise so each student will be confident on his/her path forward.
