Under the North Star has ended. This campaign is sadly over. Please visit our main website for the new projects!
Airbases need supplies, troops require transport, and equipment has to be moved. That is accomplished through the use of Microsoft Flight Simulator (and X-Plane if needed), integrating with OnAir web application.
MSFS or X-Plane is used.
Our MSFS/X-Plane Logistics Operations will leverage NewSky for fleet and flight tracking, maintenance, and mission completion. For the UTNS campaign, we will operate a Virtual Airline on the Thunder server (Challenging mode), which will own our aircraft, dispatch our missions, and track completion.
We used to run OnAir, but have now transferred over.
Some examples of the planes that will be flying.
Focused primarily on light troop and VIP transport, the 1st Combined Transport wing operates a fleet of Casa C295's (ATR72) and business Jets (Lear 35, Phenom 100, Citation CJ4/Longitude).
When heavy airlift capacity is called for, the 2nd answers. Aircraft include the Transall C160, C130, A400, C-17, and contracted Civilian Airliners and Cargo aircraft.
Speciailizing in reconnaissance and small-unit mobility, the 3rd Special Missions wing operates a fleet of UAV's and small planes such as the HVN-900 Drone, HVN-4B Drone, and Pilatus PC-12.
As a thanks to our old OnAir partnership, we recommend you go check it out even if we don't use it anymore.

OnAir Airline Manager is a massively multiplayer economy and transport simulator that works with MSFS and XP11/12 to track flights, plane locations, maintenance, and the movement of cargo and passengers throughout the world.
The user starts an airline and tries to grow it to a larger airline. You start by renting a small aircraft and transporting some good. If you are a flight simmer you can fly these missions yourself, if you are not, you can hire a virtual pilot and have him fly it. Do check the weather (yes, real-time weather) because taking a job and not being able to complete it can be costly!
