Term: The MC 24.25 term is from August 1st, 2024 to July 31st, 2025. Upon selection, the selected MCVP is expected to begin transition virtually – reading materials, participating in virtual calls, etc.
MCVPs are mandated to move to Lagos in June to be present for a physical transitioning.
Hours: The MC is a full-time commitment, being approximately 40-45 hours a week. Current office hours are 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Mondays to Fridays. Weekends are off except during conferences, Board meetings, and during planning periods/team days and emergency scenarios.
Working Conditions: The MC team will be provided with free accommodation and feeding support (completely furnished) in Lagos, Nigeria, the official residence of AIESEC in Nigeria’s Member Committee. The MC office is on the 6th floor, CC-Hub, Sabo Yaba, Lagos state. Free internet will be provided both at home and in the office space.
All members of the MC are required to live in Lagos.
Salary: All selected MCVPs are full staff of AIESEC in Nigeria and are treated as such regarding job delivery and compensation. The President & Vice Presidents of the MC are paid equally. The monthly salary is 20,000NGN.
Travel: Travel for purposes of AIESEC in Nigeria (marketing, LC visits, and conference travel) is covered, subject to approval by either the MCP or finance responsible for the MC. Personal travel cost is not covered.
Holiday and Personal Development: All MC members are given eleven (11) vacation days and five (5) professional development days to take throughout the year. Additionally, a variable amount of 3 to 5 days will be given during December for the office shutdown period for the Christmas break. All MC members will be assigned career mentors from the Alumni network.
Conferences: As part of your role as leaders of AIESEC in Nigeria, the MC members are responsible for attending various virtual and physical conferences throughout the year. The following conferences require mandatory attendance.

• NC July 2025
• International Congress: June -July 2024
• Regional Conferences: February 2025
Eligibility: All selected candidates must be eligible for employment in Nigeria.
According to the AIESEC in Nigeria compendium, in addition to the provisions of Art.14.2.2.7, the MCVPs shall have these collective responsibilities.
They:
i. Shall deputize for the MCP in his/her absence. The MC team shall choose the Vice President who shall have this responsibility.
ii. Shall be responsible for LC consolidation strategies.
iii. Shall be responsible for the implementation of system tools as decided from time to time by the global foundation.
iv. Shall be responsible for communication between the MC and the LCs.
v. Shall track the progress of LCs.
