Checklist

1. All completed applications must be submitted to mercy.jacob@aiesec.net and ekong.blessing@aiesec.net on or before 12th March 2024 23:59 GMT+1. Any late applications, even by 1 minute, and even for technical reasons; laptop failure, or website problems won’t be accepted. The application package must be submitted in a zip or rar format. Individuallly unzipped PDFs will not be accepted. The Completed package should have the following naming format “MCVP Position_FullName_Nigeria.zip” e.g “MCVPoGV_EstherRosevelt_Nigeria.zip”

2. Each candidate must present their application, answering all questions applicable to the positions they are applying for. The application (both General & Specific Questionnaire) should not exceed 15 pages with a minimum font size of 10 incuding the cover page.

3. All candidates are expected to prepare a 4 minutes video about themselves, the position they are applying for, and why. Your video should also clearly state what your goals and strategies are with clear call to actions for AIESEC in Nigeria towards achieving AIESEC  2025 in the 24.25 term. The video should not be more than 4 minutes in length and must show you speaking. Upload this on YouTube and send the link with your application.

4. Enclosed in the final application package will be the following documents;

a. Resumé -Include your most important information.

You may use any format, Maximum 2 Pages.

b. Questionnaire – This should not exceed 15 pages. For candidates applying for more than one position you are to submit a separate specific questionnaire for your second role (maximum of 5 pages).

*The effort put into the design of your application will be put into consideration

c. Blank Paper Challenge -You have one page and your own creativity, You have the opportunity to change the system, challenge any paradigms, and unleash the potential of the organization. Your blank paper challenge should answer the question, How Can AIESEC in Nigeria remain Timeless? 

d. Executive Summary–A one-page summary of your application.

e. Biography -1 page Personal Biography, Submitted in PDF Format. Written in third person format. (example: David Pollay, http://davidjpollay.typepad.com/about.html,)

f. Endorsements - For a national applicant, you must submit three (3) endorsement letters.

i. One from another LC endorsed by the LCP and another official on the EB.

ii. One of the endorsement letters MUST be from your LC of origin.

iii. The third letter must come from your LC Board of Advisers. 

iv. An ethics clearance letter stating you were not involved in any sexual abuse and/or harassment cases in the entity, signed by ESC Chair of the entities you were a part of.

For international applicants, you need an Endorsement letter from your MC.

g. Contact Information - Enclosed with your application you will also have to send the contact information (email & mobile number) of two Individuals working at the same organizational level as you, two individuals you have led in other teams, and your current leader.

h. Motivation Letter– A One-page letter talking about your motivation to apply to AIESEC in Nigeria MC team.

k. A photo of yourself for announcement purposes.

Applications won’t be accepted if;

• The application package is incomplete, even if a question is not completely answered.

• The application is sent after the deadline.

• The format of the documents is different from the ones clearly stated (All documents should be in PDF)

• Links are not working properly or rights are not given to see the supporting material.
