Class Dojo

At Four Dwellings we place great importance on the need for effective communication between all staff, pupils and families.   Class Dojo is a school communication platform that enables us to connect, communicate and share news, stories and learning in a quick and easy way. 

Points

Throughout the day, the children earn dojo points which are linked to encouraging positive learning behaviours.  The children each have their own profile and enjoy the instant and visual feedback.  At the end of each day a certificate is given to the children who have accumulated the most points and we have an assembly every week to celebrate the children’s achievements.  

Keeping us connected with you

Messages make it easy to communicate with teachers, families and staff anytime, anywhere and are automatically translated into more than 35 languages.  Messages allow teachers, office staff and parents to message each other, without need to share phone numbers or contact details. Staff will aim to respond to any messages from parents within 24 hours. Messages sent out of hours will not be seen by teachers or office staff until their next working day. 

Stories offer a window into your child's world at school

With stories, teachers can securely share photos, videos and updates on a private feed.   Stories are instantly updating streams of messages, pictures and videos. Every class and school has their own Story, all of which are shared with parents. School Story helps the school office and teachers to share with all families connected to our school whilst Class Story helps class teachers to share with families connected only to their class.

Keep everyone up-to-date

Adding events, weekly newsletters and any key dates and information to the calendar keeps everyone in the loop with updates and reminders.
